1. Aim of the Assessment
The aim of this assessment, is to test your ability to implement common front-end HTML/CSS and JavaScript technologies, and combine them with a back-end technology (PHP). This combination must interact with an industry recognised Database. These include the implementation of simple Web API’s, Session Management and Web Security.
2. Format of Deliverable
This assessment is based on three separate parts. Each part comes with one or more videos which contain a series of instructions needed to create a Full Stack Web application, and a written set of assessment requirements outlining the tasks need to complete each part by yourself.
For each part, ensure you watch the videos and complete the code shown within them. You will need to stop the videos in places to enter the code shown into your own application.
You will be provided with a starting website structure with skeleton code, from which you will complete the rest from the video the instructions and your own problem solving.
The following is an overall guide to the marks available for each Assessment part.
Each part when it is available will then provide a further breakdown of marks.
0 - 55 Marks
You have completed all the visual and functional requirements in Part One without errors. (Lecturer discretion)
0-18 Marks
You have met the requirements and completed the visual and functional requirements from Part Two without errors. (Lecturer discretion)
0-25 Marks
You have met and completed the visual and functional requirements from Part Three without errors. (Lecturer discretion)
