Assignment Details and Requirements

You have been given the task of creating a website that will demonstrate your web design capabilities. You can choose any one topic from the following. If you are interested in showing your web design capabilities in other topic (not mentioned here), prior approval from the lecturer is needed.

Select any one of the above topic and create a website of at least 5 pages. Create at least FIVE (5) well designed web pages. Things to include in Website:

HTML5

CSS3

Multimedia objects such as images, video and audio

Web form

Javascript

As part of assignment, you need to submit a short report containing the following:

Short introduction on the selected topic Story board of the website design Screen Capture of the Website List of websites accessed for references.

Note:

Web design must done with using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript only. Use of templates or any authoring tool will be not accepted. It will result in zero marks.

About one page (500 words) of the introduction on the selected topic, current At least 5 screen mockups, preferably using an online with a short paragraph explaining each page. Use HTML5 structural  elements such as header, footer, nav, article and section. Correct use of hyperlinks. Demonstrated competent use of other HTML elements such as table and List, etc

Use of embedded style with occasional inline style rules. Use of CSS for background image, fonts and colours. Use of margin, border, padding, content Use of appropriate images / audio/ videos. Use of other we APIs such as google maps Use of CSS or JS image slider/ gallery Complete Web form of at least 6 different types of fields(text fields, radio buttons, checkboxes, text area, select and buttons) Perform form validation such as required fields.

A response on submitting form. Use of prompt, alert and other functions Content Use of relevant content to show complete information of the business and its products.

Web design/Presentation Use of proper colour, background, fonts, alignment of images and text.  List of at least five (5)  references in APA referencing formats with citations.
