Answer – Graphical User Interface, or commonly known as (GUI) is considered to be a particular kind of interface through the help of which an user would be interacting with electronic devices like computers, electronic devices that would be held within hand for easy access and other appliances. In the interface, there are supposed be use of icons, menus and many other visual indicators that have been representing for displaying all the relevant information and all the related controls for the user themselves. The interface also helps in displaying the interface that are based on unlike texts, at where, the data and all the commands are in texts. Graphical User Interface also have been keeping representations which are manipulated by devices that are pointing like mouse, trackballs, stylus, or any kind of finger on a touch screen.

The particular need of graphical user interface have become very crucial as due to the first interface with computers and through the keyboard created texts, which is commonly known as prompt. There were many commands which were typed on the keyboard from the DOS prompt for initiating the responses from any computers. The use of the commands is important and the need for the checking of the spelling that is created in a cumbersome and inefficient.

Virtual images have been evolved as the part of the graphical user interface which has become in as the commonplace in both the operating system and the software application. Although, with a few application and computer skills, with the use of graphical user interface, users could be learning about the computer applications for the word of processing, the finances, inventory management and the design artwork or any kind of hobbies.

There are some basic components that were used by the graphical user interface are – printers, pointing devices, icons, desktop and menus. These components would be used for providing assistance at creating a better interface with the humans and the electronics devices.

On a larger scale, among the desktop computers, the pointing devices is called the mouse and in any laptops or in any kind of tablets, it is known as mousepads or touchscreens. The pointing devices have been moving in the synchronicity with the pointer programming.

The icons are said to be denoting small pictures which would be representing the programs in the computer, the files and the commands. At moving the pointers it could be said that icons and the selection of the icons while activating the program would be more appropriate. In the desktop, the display area of the screen would be allowing the user for viewing the various other programs in the computer. The desktop icons which would be moved, or organized or could be labeled to be fitting accordingly for the need of the customers.

The windows in any computer helps in diving the screen of the devices into many various obvious areas. Among each of the window, the display would be different according to the program of the computer or the same program which would be preforming all the various kind of functions. The menu in the features would be allowing the users to select among the various users in the program for running. There are various kind so division in the window component. The container window is considered to be a window that would be opened while the convention or invoking all the relevant icons which is linked with the mass storage of devices or along with directory of the liked folders. They would be presenting the list of the other icons that have been orderly arranged, so that it could be again listed with some form of other directories or particular data file. It would also be seen that if the window operator is at all particular kind of executable program or not. In all the find of modern container window, it would be present the various kind of content within the screen in either acting as a part of the browser window or any form of text windows.

The menu would be allowing the user, for allowing them to execute the commands by the selection of the icons from the list of the choices. The options are also being selected with the mouse or any other form of pointing devices that are a part of the graphical user interface. The keyboard may also be used which assessing the menus. The menu are also be convenient as they would he showing what the commands would be available within the particular software.

Tabs are also a typical part of the components of graphical user interface. They are the typical kind of rectangular small boxes which are usually be contained any text labels or any kind of graphical icon associated with the view pane. These tabs are activated by the view of the pane or the particular window, display widgets which are associated along with the tab or group of tabs. These tabs would be used for the accessing web browsers like Chrome. Firefox, Opera and many more. With all these web browsers, there can be other multiple web pages that could be opened once in one window, and quickly be accessed and navigated by clicking on the tabs associated with the pages. These tabs are usually placed in groups at the top of the window, but it would also be grouped on the side or at the bottom of the window. Thus, they would be helping the user.

All these features of the graphical user interface would be eventually helping in making the programming of the computer more user friendly and also making it more easily accessible for the user that have very few knowledge of computers. The basic language that computer language understands in the use of binary codes. The central processing unit decodes the languages as the input made from the features is getting converted by these components of graphical user features.
