Choose one of the topics below and use the sources provided to learn about the topic’s causes and effects. Then, follow the prompt for the chosen topic to write an essay on.

Cruise Ships: Watch the video and read the article provided to learn about the effects of cruise ships. Write an essay explaining at least one positive reason why people take cruises and two effects – positive or negative – from this type of vacation. Also include in your conclusion suggestions for how some of the negative effects (whether you chose to discuss them or not) could be solved.
