Organizational leaders face internal and external organizational environments that are both complex and uncertain. To be successful, a leader must evaluate both environments through a visionary lens. Chapters 2 and 3 of Barney and Hesterly (2019) provide some tools, theories, and models that leaders may use to navigate both the internal and external environments.
Apply the tools, theories, and models provided by Barney and Hesterly (and any others you would like to use) to perform a detailed analysis of your organization’s internal and external environments. This analysis should provide the evidence that you need to develop your organization's transformation plan.
Write at least a 5-page environmental analysis, with headings and subheadings, that includes the following:
Conduct additional research to supplement the environmental information that is provided in your case study.
Include applicable visuals (graphs, charts, tables, figures, etc.) where appropriate. Note: Visuals are excluded from the page count minimum.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
