Questions:
Assignment Brief - Form Processing Scripts in C#/.NET and PHP
Your first assignment will require you to develop a results processing system for the Olympic Games in both ASP.Net (Inline Coding) and PHP, giving you an opportunity to see two web scripting languages in action. You will be provided with an input form for which you can code a solution in a) .NET/C#, and b) PHP that validates and processes the form data entered and presents results to an output .aspx / .php page. You will be graded on how well you use each languages’ syntax, conditional logic, control structures, data validation methods, functions (both in-built and user-defined) and basic mathematical calculations to achieve the required result.

Solution Overview
Create a:
1.    .NET/C# script, and
2.    PHP script,
each of which reads in data entered by the user into the relevant form provided:
1.    OlympicFormNET_CSharp.aspx for your .NET/C# script, and
2.    OlympicFormPHP.php for your PHP script

Please note that the form code in both documents is precisely the same; it’s just some header declarations that vary.
Each script must validate and process the form data entered and present the required results to an output .aspx / .php page. Validation rules and output requirements are specified below.
Your script must be designed to read in only those rows that contain results data and ignore (skip) those that have not been used.

Submission Requirements
You must submit the complete and self-contained folder/file structures required to run both your .NET/C# and PHP solutions.
Your .NET/C# solution will be run in Visual Studio Enterprise 2019 in its .sln project form with the start page being OlympicFormNET_CSharp.aspx. Your solution will not be built and published to a web server.
Your PHP solution will be run in XAMMP with the start page being OlympicFormPHP.php. If your solution does not run for whatever reason, such as:
a)    The file/folders submitted are incomplete to not self-contained, or
b)    Incompatibility issues caused by using development environments other than those specified, or
c)    Just straight-up coding errors,

your tutor/lecturer will assign marks on a code read-through basis only. No troubleshooting will be attempted. Please note that only partial marks are available when a code read-through is required, so please:
a)    Use the development environments specified, Visual Studio/XAMPP
b)    Use the languages specified, i.e. .NET/C# (inline code) and PHP
c)    Test your scripts thoroughly before submission
d)    Make sure you submit your solutions in their entirety (complete and self-contained)
