This building obtained the Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC) in 2008 and has not attained any Green Mark rating. In order to enhance the asset value, the building owner decided to apply for a Green Mark certification. The building maintenance team consists of a managing agent and a few term contractors. The existing managing agent had conducted preliminary survey for this building. Your client provided the copy of preliminary survey report for your review. You have been appointed as the Green Mark project consultant for this building and you also need to provide Green Mark project management services. Question 1
As a Green Mark Accredited Professional (FM), it is your duty to follow up appropriate assessment procedures prior to achieve Green Mark Gold award. Describe the proper assessment procedures and identify the correct version of BCA Green Mark Scheme to be used.
Question 2
Relate to the Green Mark Criteria and provide the current Green Mark score points of the existing office building base on the preliminary findings. (Preliminary findings are provided in Annex A)
Question 3
Provide a proposal to achieve Green Mark GoldPLUS rating with a gap analysis. Your proposal shall demonstrate and include the detailed breakdown of the targeted Green Mark score points of the building.
Question 4
Explain the necessary reasons for all categories under the Green Mark framework.
