Submission Submit your report to Blackboard (AUT online) on or before the due submission date Requirements Use the instructional design model (A.D.D.I.E) and design a 120 minute blended learning intervention on a work-based skill. One hour in class, and one hour on-line. Write a report (not essay) and include a training plan/schedule for a training assistant to a group of between 25- 30 individuals. The location is the room we have the L & D weekly sessions. The individuals are working either part-time or full time. You should assume the individuals are of mixed learning styles and preferences, mixed ages and gender. You can situate your training skill in any industry/sector you wish. Your report is to contain explanations of why you chose your training approaches, activities and methods and evidenced from academic sources. Descriptive content is to be kept at a minimum in the report. This is based on your identified skill / ‘need’/gap/concern into a blended learning two hour format and be original in content. • Your report should include reference to relevant theory and training processes including needs assessment, training methods, learning theories and programme design, training evaluation and transfer of training ; • Attach to the report appendices (minimum of 5) one must be an outline of a comprehensive training schedule for a Training Assistant to follow 12 and any other relevant materials they would need to conduct the session. • The minimum duration of the session should be 120 minutes.
