How the development of golf technology has influenced golf course design?

The designers of different golf clubs have calibrated with a high moment of inertia within drivers in order to enhance the desired golf playing experiences of the concerned people.  It became very important to increase the size of the golf course as per the changing trends throughout the world.  This report will help in evaluating the development of the golf technology by getting influenced by the design of golf course.  Moreover, the report will reflect the different development phases, components and the need for the geographical appraisal. The construction of the golf course was considered to be very important as it needed the desired complete related to the area and many other things.  It is a matter of fact that the origin of the golf is not very clear but it was taken to be developed in the Scotland while the times of Middle Ages (Golf club set to use STW technology, 2012). The game was not very popular until the nineteenth century. Then gradually it started gaining popularity and it reached through the different parts of the United Kingdom, the British Empire as well as the United States. The report will help in reflecting the historical overview of balls used for the game of golf. At the beginning of the game, the wooden balls were preferred by the professionals but due to some of the important reasons the use of the wooden balls were stopped and then the hairy balls were preferred instead of the wooden balls. The Royal Montreal club was the one who started the game of golf in their concerned place. 

The history of the development and the origin of the golf highlight the desired fact that it was supposed to the event of Scottish people. Before 1870, there were 40 clubs founded throughout the Scotland which reached to 111 before the year 1890 and finally, there were 79 clubs that were constructed before the year 1910. One of the well known and oldest clubs for golf is the Royal Montreal Golf club. The club has its continuous existence in the North America and it was founded in the year 1873 by the eight gentlemen.  The royal title was provided by Queen Victoria and it was the ninth club to obtain this title. The construction of the golf course was quite different from those of the golf course at the present times. There were nine holes in the layout of that golf course in the field of Fletcher. These wooden balls were primarily used throughout the games that were played on the north sides of the country. The shape and the size of the wooden balls were considered to be most important in order to bring out the reliability for the sportsperson concerned.  The designing of the balls was in a manner so that it suits the land area as well as it should be smooth in order to enhance the desired experiences of the concerned players. The balls that were discovered at the beginning could only be hit up to a distance of 75 meters.  Moreover, these balls had the hard wearing shape and were used for covering a distance of 75 meters (Golf club set to use STW technology, 2012).  The next was the hairy balls that were used for the game of golf and these were used instead of the wooden ball by the respective users. These hairy balls were originally used in golf which was mainly on the ice. The most important fact was these hairy balls had the good handling characteristics. The distance that could be hit was increased from 75 meters to 1502 meters. It had the more controlling feature than the wooden ball, thus, the use of the ball was significantly increased up to a great extent.  But the most important fact was that the hairy ball gets damaged by the effect of water. The weather throughout the east of Scotland keeps dries during the winter season therefore, the ball would remain mitigated (Goodwin, 2010).   Thus, these balls were found to be reliable for the use and were continued till decades. The feathery balls were the most famous of all the balls but there is no such evidence which describes that when or where these balls were discovered.  This was the most preferred balls for the game of golf.

Ball

It was very important for the professionals to study the desired land area and the fertility of the land for the development of the golf course and the construction of the holes at the different places on the field. The construction of the golf course was considered to be most important in order to enhance the reliability of the game. The steel wheel tractor was used for the agricultural use and it was then used for the development and maintenance of the turf grasses (Hudson and Hudson, 2014). The history reveals the desired fact that the green keeper struggled in order to improve the quality of the grasses for the golf course but today the technology has helped a lot in bringing out the desired turfgrasses for the golf courses.  There was huge pressure on the green keepers to collect and refine the information regarding the development of the turf grasses for the execution of the golf game. The financial support was very important for the collection of the equipment of turf grasses (Moore and Zontek, 2013).  Moreover, their maintenance was a major area that needs to be concentrated on. The manufacturer plays the most important role in the development of high efficiency of equipment for maintaining the turf grasses (Plunkett, 2008).  The maintenance of the equipment was taken care of as this was important for the development of the turf grasses on which the game of golf was played by the professionals. The professionals considered the development of the turfgrass very important for the reliability of the game of golf. The maintenance was done in order to make the equipment perform well in making the grasses suitable for the execution of the golf game.

The green mowers prepare the putting surface of the concerned of the playing field is considered to be used widely for the low height of the cut.  Most of the green mowers are developed in such a way as to seat for the operator and it consists of a utility vehicle as well as the trailer through which the concerned operator can go through the green field (Modern radio production, 2013).   On the other hand, there are triplex mowers that are used for the mowing of green tees and the desired approaches, Moreover, they can also be used for the intermediate roughs and the even areas throughout the green field. The designing of the ball is another important factor for the golf course as there are many of the well-known professionals of the golf field that considers it to be used most importantly. Therefore, the mowers are used as per the different heights of the ground at the different places of the golf course. The development of the golf technology crucially depends on the development of the design of golf (Johnson et al., 2012).  The quality of the turfgrasses throughout the golf course was considered very important as it critically enhances the quality of the game. There are different types of the mowers that come along different varieties in order to put green within the golf course. These are the walk-behind mowers and the triplex mowers. The triplex mowers are the riding mowers that are used consisting of three units of cutting including three of the important vehicles.  These wheels play the most important role in bringing out the desired results for the maintenance of the golf course with the help of the vehicle. The walking mowing is preferred   in order to produce the best quality of the work in cutting and related to the maintaining of the golf course field. On the other hand, it considers the highest quality of the green conditioning (Kearns, Kearns, and profile, 2013). It is evident to know that the green mower requires the desired and suitable amount of time and the concerned resources for its completion. The riding of the triplex mowers are large as well as they provide the most efficient results but the difficulty is in setting the three units of the cutting to yield.   It becomes very important for the professionals as well as the green keeper to maintain the high level of cutting and high level of quality of the golf course. Moreover, it is kept in mind the maintenance should not affect the greenery of the playground as this keeps the quality of appearance of the green field. All of the green mowers area considered to be the reel mowers for the green field as they enhance the reliability of the entire golf course (Luo, 2012). It becomes very important to analyze the description of a putting green reel mower; it consists of nine blades as well as fifteen blades on each reel which usually spins vertically in order to use the scissoring action against the respective bed knife which is fixed.   Some of the other mowers that help in designing as well as maintaining the golf course field are tee mowers, greens collar mower, the approach mower and the fairy mower.
