Reflections on Gathering and Documenting Lessons Learned

 The paper generally focuses on the involvement of the students within the course of PMP20008. The report mainly aims to showcase the experience that are mainly gained by the students by involving the course. The paper also elaborates the lesson learnt framework as well as the process of gathering lessons that are generally learnt. Moreover, the paper also clearly states the situation and the problems that arises with proper improvement strategies so that the problems that rises can be resolved quite effectively. In addition to this, the lessons that are learnt from the report are quite beneficial for making the future projects successful.

The plan that is made is made by me previously does not work and therefore I collected the learnt lessons after my course gets completed.

I mainly involved the members who are of my team for collecting lessons learnt so that they can also provide some help in collection I mainly planned to document the lessons in the form of report and presentation so that both the report and presentation can be used within the project.

I have identified lot of problems in determining the changes that are needed as well as proper steps for managing the changes when I was involved with this course. This creates lot of issues and problems in the completion of the project and creates obstruction within the project.

This situation made me feel quite sad I was not incapable of properly managing the issues which generally rises due to improper management of the changes. If the needed changes are not added within time then it further creates lot of problems in the entire project. After properly reflecting on the situation, I analyzed that it is very much significant to properly accomplish the required changes for achieving the goals as well as objectives.

Impact of Feelings on the Situation

The specific improvement strategy that is needed to be implemented generally creates lot of issues within the project. The different changes are generally done properly crosschecked in order to make sure that the different types of changes which are made within the project is quite helpful in meeting the objectives of the project.

 I would know that the strategy was properly working as I will be able to effectively analyze the change that generally exists because of the application of changes within the project for making  sure that the changes are effective. This strategy is achievable for me because I will be able to properly develop the change management plan before making the necessary changes.  This strategy is relevant to lesson 1 as it will generally help in minimizing the changes that are mainly associated with the project quite effectively.  I will implement this strategy by 1 month so that I can be able to implement the required changes within the work quite successfully without facing any type of problems and issues.

I faced number of problems associated due to ineffective communication with my team members when I was engaged with the course of PMP20008. It is found that due to ineffective communication, number of issues generally occurs which leads to obstruction within the entire project.

The situation made me feel sad I was unable to communicate effectively with the team members due to lack of confidence. This is one of the major problem that can create negative impact on the work that was undertaken. After reflecting on the present situation, I learnt that the problem that I am facing due to improper communication can be effectively resolved by engaging in group discussions as well as by developing proper plan for communication.

The specific improvement strategy is to develop proper communication plan so that the problem that I am facing due to inappropriate communication can be resolved quite effectively. Proper development of communication plan is necessary for working successfully with a group of people.

I would know the strategy was working as I could measure the change in performance of the work after the successful implementation of the improvement strategy within the entire project. This strategy is achievable for me because as I would be able to engage within groups for discussion ad can be able to develop proper plan for communication so that the problems that occurs due to gap in communication can be resolved quite effectively. This strategy is relevant to lesson 2 as it will be helpful in reducing the issues of communication gap. I will implement this strategy by 1 month so that the problems that mainly occur due to communication gap can be effectively resolve.

Strategies for Managing Time

I faced number of difficulties as well as problems in managing time properly when I was involved in PMP20008 course. Due to improper management of time number of problems as well as issues occur which generally delays the work.

The situation made me frustrated as time management is important for achieving success and incapability in managing the time within any type of work is creating negative impact.

While focussing on the entire situation, I realized that it is quite important to manage the project time properly by making appropriate time management plan. Additionally, it is identified that appropriate plan for  time management plan assists in resolving the issues that  generally occurs  due to inappropriate management of project time.

The specific improvement strategy is to develop schedule management plan that includes details about the duration, activities as well as dependencies of the tasks that are needed to be executed. This plan generally assists in reducing the problem that causes due to improper time management.

I would know the strategy was working as I could measure the changes that mainly occur because of the development of schedule management plan quite effectively. This strategy is achievable for me because I can be able to develop proper  plan for schedule management  within the project with the help and guidance other team members. This strategy is relevant to lesson 2 as it will helpful in reducing the problem that generally occurs due to improper time management within the project. I will implement this strategy in 2 months so that the issues that I have faced related with improper time management can be mitigated quite easily.

From the entire solution, it can be concluded that involving within the course of PMP20008 is very much beneficial as with the help of the course proper lessons are generally collected that can be utilized in the future projects. Further it is found that the paper focuses on lesson learnt framework as well as on the situation that is faced while involving within the course. In addition to this, the paper also focuses on the improvement strategies which are considered to be important for resolving the problems as well as issues. Thus, it is found that the lessons which are learnt from the entire course can guide me to complete the entire project successfully.
