The project that is going to develop is of an online bus booking service. For the project we have to make a website by which the user will be able to book the tickets of the bus by sitting in the home. The website will be accessible from anywhere and anytime. The payment also made in online as their will be payment gateway that is implemented. The user first have to sign up in the website by filling up a form with valid details then an authentication will be made for the user. After the proper authentication the user will be able to log in to the website and then book the bus tickets. A database will be added with the website for storing the credentials of the passengers. The organization is a bus organization and for them the project will be made it will be convenient for the user and the organization as well to use the website for booking the bus tickets. There will be less human resource needed for this project as only one back officer will be there to operate and calculate the fare of the bus and then send back to the user who will book the tickets of the buses. There is mainly two activities one is booking the seat and then making the payment for the booking. In the recent time the all businesses are coming online and it is easier to access the website from home rather going outside. The online businesses have the chances of generating more revenue than the traditional businesses. This is basically the need of the business to generate high amount of revenue for the business. This project will be beneficial for the user as well as the business organization that is the bus organization for this project. In the project there will be many feature is added like the customer support. The website needs to be responsive so than in any device the website will be accessible with ease. The size of the organization is large and to maintain the large organization only traditional way was not enough so an online portal of the organization is must to divide the workflow. Many technologies is used in the website and the technologies must be stable. The server that will be used in the website must have the capacity of handling many people at a time so at a time many people will be able to access the website. the data storage will have to be in cloud so as any as data can be stored by the users and the passengers credentials will be stored for use further. A stable internet connection is must while the booking of the bus ticket if the internet connection is not stable then error can happen while booking the ticket. All the activities regarding to the ticket booking needs to be taken care of in order to complete the whole process successfully. After the successful completion of the booking the passenger will be able to take a soft copy of the ticket on the device or they can print the ticket.

Aim of the Project

The project that is discussed in the review is the online bus booking system. By this project people will be able to book their bus tickets from sitting at the home. The main of the project is to provide a convenient way of bus booking for the passengers. A portal will be centralized and from anywhere the passenger can book the tickets at any time. The booking od the tickets online is the easiest way. The traditional process of the bus booking system is very pathetic as it takes lot of time and human effort. To book a ticket the people have to stand in a queue and then wait for their chance. But in the online website many people can book their tickets simultaneously as per their requirement. Another aim of the projects is to control the corruption as favour’s happens in many cases in the traditional ticket booking system but in the online ticket booking portal the passenger can see the availability of the seats and they can choose their desired seat as per their requirements. The project also aims to integrate many things in the future to the project. The project of the website will have mobile application in future from that the passengers also able to book their tickets. A mobile version of the website also need to make so that people having only mobile phone will be able to book their tickets. For the issues of the passenger a communication support will be given so that the passenger can communicate with them and solve their issues. Other objective of the project is to help the organization to grow. As the organization is coming to the online market so the range of the people is high who can access the websites and book the tickets. The brand value of the organization will be higher day by day if they provide good service to their customers. As more people will engage with the website the revenue will be generated more as the organization will work in online and offline too. So to be precise the main aim or the objectives of the project is to provide the passenger a convenient and easier platform for the bus ticket booking and to grow the company value and generate more revenue than before.

The SDLC of the bus ticketing venturing is the processing that the entire functioning process starts off with the description of the business process. This ensures the fact that description pf the entire project is done before the starting o the project. This fact ensures that the pre defining of the terminology helps in planning the project, which helps in the processing of the hurdles tht are posed to the organization, is set before hand to avoid the processing of the major problems. After defining the terminologies, the main aspect ensures the fact that the storing of the data in database helps in the processing of the staring of the individual clients. This helps in the processing and the maintaining of the data base. After securing the maintenance of the data in the data base, entire process starts. The availability of the seats were made to be checked with ease. This fact ensures the fact that the navigation methods used in the functioning of the website is maintained. This process ensures that the novice people who want to be the clients of the organization gets access with ease. This is done due to the fact that the clients do not face any kind of difficulties, leading to the fact that the processing of the data management is done with proper efficiency. Another major methodology is that after ensuring the ease of availability of the seats, booking o f the seats becomes the major concern. After logging into the account the processing takes into consideration the fact that the functioning is made efficient. The process of booking the seats mus be made with proper efficiency. After checking thee efficiency of the project ensures the fact that the tickets are booked in the terminology of the project. after booking of the project is maintained, the cancellation of the seats must be processed. The entire method ends after ensuring the fact that the processing of the project stops here.

The software  used in the terminology of the project is ASP.net. Microsoft, ensuring the fact that the usage of the platform is very potent in nature, supports this software platform. The processing of the bus reservation system includes the fact that the online purchasing of the ticket is easy to use for the processing of the booking system. the online bus ticket booking system is embedded in nature, taking into consideration the fact that website and bus ticket booking will check the routes that must be taken for the processing of the data that are used for the reservations. Taking into consideration the fact  that usage of the ASP.net and this language is used for the processing of the bus ticket reservation. The payment methodology is used for the processing of the payment of the reservation of the bus tickets through digital medium. The client data is stored in the data base of the passenger list.
