Everybody has ideas, but each individual has a unique set of value systems. These distinctions are influenced by a human's ethnicity, specific origin, life events, and a variety of other factors (Timms & Watson, 2018). Personal values are acceptable and express what is essential to people. One of the most crucial components of our existence is our relationships. Nonetheless, many individuals find it difficult to form strong and lasting connections. Relationships, as we know them, are evolving as a result of technological advancements (Park et al., 2018). Digital hateful language is becoming more prevalent. False information is taking over people's brains and making news. Building long-term human connections become a crucial aspect of social workers' work in this environment and society. Only by being ready to appreciate and develop relationships built on genuine respect will we be able to minimize toxic tendencies in our community (Sagiv et al., 2017).

Social workers, through providing relationships in a formal setting, provide people with an opportunity to evolve and a method to identify who they are and what they can do to enrich their life. I consider myself fortunate to be a member of the occupational group of social workers in which I am now enrolled. I will take advantage of this chance to offer my relationships and basic principles to society's social activities.

My primary beliefs and principles revolve around social equality and well-being. Persecution, unfairness, prejudice, and brutality are all incompatible with my line of work (Timms & Watson, 2018). I trust in using strengths-based strategies and a person-in-environment viewpoint to meet the interests and wellbeing of people, organizations, teams, communities, and civilization as a whole. In particular, my ideal audiences for social work are poor, marginalized, and disadvantaged individuals; nevertheless, I would want to assist persons dealing with a variety of issues, such as unemployment, dependency, psychiatric disorder, and so on, to encourage them to fulfill their requirements. To render our community more equal, fair, and sensitive to social equality, we and the field as a part must handle issues about minority populations (Sagiv et al., 2017).

One of the most important qualities of a social worker is the skill to interact with communities and veterans from a variety of origins. In my perspective, I had little contact with veterans, but I did get diversity-based therapy while working in fostering families and with persons with impairments. The vast proportion of instances included people with varying academic, religious, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds (Mustaffa et al., 2016). A social worker's capacity to recognize and analyze the demands of psychological adjustment is a necessary competency. Furthermore, he or she should be competent to develop and implement appropriate therapy techniques for veterans. In my little exposure with service members, I was only able to help them in identifying their requirements. They essentially comprised of acclimating to a conflict-free existence and establishing solid life strategies for any type of psychiatric illness, such as PTSD (Barsky, 2019). Throughout my social services provider era, I was frequently required to examine the psychological health of the customers.

Social services may represent the institutions with which they are involved while simultaneously producing the best benefit for the communities they assist by performing genuinely and displaying moral commitment (Contreras & Cano, 2016).

It can be noted that a social worker has to be able to sustain and build strong working connections, which includes interaction with authorities, employees, and patients (Park et al., 2018). Even though the mentioned criteria are required in any part of social service, it was most vital in my perspective when I served in foster families. Because children were involved, the interaction was critical to ensuring the efficacy of work partnerships.

Forcing our ideals on people involves attempting to impose direct control over their ideas, emotions, judgments, emotions, and behaviors (Congress, 2017). This might happen if we are utterly unconscious about our personal views, ideas, and sentiments, or if we have strong biases towards particular categories of individuals. We may force our ideals on customers either actively, such as by delivering specific comments to impact their actions, or quietly, through nonverbal interaction. It might be tough to resist influencing customers in our way while retaining a pleasant demeanor. Considering your principles and being conscious of our customers' views and objectives are two methods for avoiding this temptation. We must try an attempt to be truthful with ourselves about our own counseling beliefs and prejudices. This can assist us in developing a higher feeling of self-awareness and avoiding unwittingly forcing our ideals on the people (Hatibo?lu et al., 2019).

In the process of their employment, social workers are frequently confronted with circumstances that pit their values against the principles of the profession (Contreras & Cano, 2016). It has long been understood that social work activity frequently presents ethical quandaries. These quandaries arise as a result of a clash between professional and personal ideals. Intolerable social actions also add to the offenders' social inequities (Congress, 2017). Intolerable social actions have been shown to induce personal and professional value conflict among social services. People of social unfairness as a result of inappropriate social conduct are divided into two categories. One category consists of individuals mistreated by the party doing inappropriate social conduct, while the other category consists of sufferers of social unfairness as a result of the team performing undesirable social actions. In another sense, inappropriate social behaviors have two effects on social inequality, one as a consequence of the action and the other as a result of this action (Hatibo?lu et al., 2019). Considering the subject of systemic inequality as a result of undesirable social conduct, there are a variety of factors why a sufferer does such an activity, as well as a variety of methods in which professional counselors may feel personal and professional value conflict. Organic causes may cause an individual to engage in undesirable social conduct. Mental disorder, unemployment, and societal stigma are examples of natural factors. Nevertheless, the mental disorder is a distinct instance, and the law acknowledges it as an unhappy organic cause that harms lifestyle; therefore, sufferers of mental disorders are obliged to be cared for by social services (Congress, 2017).

Ethical Quandaries

Scenario: A guy rapes an eight-year-old girl and is sentenced to 15 years in prison under the law. The little girl and her guardians, on the contrary, must attend several therapy appointments following the pharmaceutical practice. The guy and the girl, along with her guardians, are both hostages of societal inequality, but the guy is also the offender. The social care occupational ethic respects the rapist's desire for a brighter quality of future than what he or she has encountered in penal facilities. Personal beliefs that inhibit the impulse to concern a vulnerable individual make it difficult for a caseworker to interact with such individuals. On the reverse side, such a circumstance evokes the notion of assisting a criminal. Because of the convict's violence and agony inflicted on the defenseless girl, this situation invokes the image of penalizing instead of assisting the support worker.

Response: In such a case, I may fall short of the professional standard of solution offering to the consumer. The kid and her guardians, on the other extreme, require the support of a social counselor because the sexual activity may end in societal shame, among other negative consequences (Steinheider et al., 2019). It will usually be a difficult assignment for us, particularly those who engage with counseling such clients because the situation lacks the secrecy needed by human services ethical conduct. As a result, I am intended to concentrate on the enhancement of a lifestyle on the edge of breaking apart rather than the source of the crisis, as this might allow emotional values to take precedence over occupational ideals. My true purpose in working with the subjugated person, in this example a rape survivor, is to improve their integrity and self-worth. This aim can only be attained via the practice's honesty and ability, which the social service morals acknowledge as essential characteristics for coping with human connections (Park et al., 2018). We are urged to address conflicts between individual and professional values via conversations and observations of the sufferers' ethnic and religious views, amid other aspects, while dealing with interpersonal and professional values conflicts. The practice of devoting sufficient effort to studying the victim's condition is critical for resolving personally and professionally involved value conflicts (Aktan et al., 2020). 

As a social work student, I am aware that some circumstances will be more difficult than others. My ideas were implanted in me at an early age, so studying to be a social worker and learning new principles that I must consider would be challenging. The standard of practice says unequivocally that all social services must defend the freedoms and advance the objectives of service seekers and caregivers; hence, it is critical to understand that the proper step is to evaluate somebody's requirements whilst functioning on a professional basis (Castillo et al., 2019). Moreover, social counselors engage within a 'Framework for Theory and Practice' that recognizes the prevalence of injustice and discrimination in the community (Howe, 2017). As a result, employing this framework will aid in the development of abilities necessary in practice while avoiding discrimination or inequity (Park et al., 2018). These abilities will also aid in the development of collaborative connections with multi-disciplinary groupings. These may be implemented in my profession and will help me grow as a social worker professional.

Daily, as case services, we advocate for fundamental rights and equality, giving voiceless and underprivileged people a platform. We help to enhance people's existence, and in doing so, we help to enhance civilization overall. The most serious issue affecting the profession's ability to carry out its responsibility is a clash between personal and professional ideals. Social professionals are individuals who, like everyone else, form opinions based on their experiences. I will always prioritize the places in which I want to engage and will not contemplate being assigned to an individual or team of persons with whom I may have trouble tolerating or functioning. This will be a conflict between my personal and professional values; nevertheless, with constant education and growth, I will be ready to progress in the field of social work predicated on a dedication to essential beliefs and concepts in action.
