The project titled System Development for Sub Sea Adventure is being developed for forming an appropriate development of information system that would be helpful for integrating the functions of operations and development of project plan. The Sub Sea Adventure is a scuba gear providing company that also provides the training to inexperienced scuba divers. They operate from three centers namely Portsea, Queenscliff and Phillip Island. Shane who is a scuba diving instructor works as the manager of Sub Sea Adventure. The development of technology had made them realise the importance of implementing an automatic information system that would help in increasing the efficiency of operations of the organization.

Scope: The scope of the project is pointed below,

  • To develop an information system for increasing the efficiency of operations of Sub Sea Adventures
  • To form a plan for the project operations including the effective and smart development of project operations
  • To integrate the functions of system development in Sub Sea Adventures by the use of the technological advancement

Problems: The operations of Sub Sea Adventures are done manually and its takes time for completing the activities of the project. Moreover, the activities of Sub Sea Adventures are located in three different places and it takes time for transmitting the information from one centre to another. The manager Shane had realized the importance of implementing a new electronic system that would ease the operations of the organization.

Benefits: The implementation of the new electronic information system would help in forming the appropriate development of information storage and processing. The development of implementing the information processing would help in forming faster and scalable information processing for the organization.

Deliverables: The deliverables of the project include the project plan for implementing the information processing system for Sub Sea Adventures, application design for the system, and completion of project operations within stipulated budget and time duration.

Approach: The development of project plan is developed for forming the appropriate development of project plan of operations. The agile software development model is used for forming the project operation model. Agile development consists of four phases analysing, planning, implementing, and monitoring. Similarity project phases is divided into four phases namely, initialization phase, planning and designing phase, implementing phase, and testing phase.
