Reporting relationships: The senior floor manager will be there to provide sufficient guidance to the new comer.

About CoffeeVille:

This café typically targets to provide quality food and service to the customers and transact a fair trade with the customers in Melbourne. The café has initially started with a less amount of workers and was working from Monday to Friday. However, a rise in the demand for this café is leading to increase the timing of the café from Monday to Friday. The café is in urgent requirement for a second floor manager who must be really capable of handling the staff and managing the café. The new manager should be working from Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Saturday.

Purpose of position:

The job role is of a manager who is required urgently as there is a manager who is only working from Monday to Thursday. The manager is not present on Friday, due to which the cafe faces a lot of issue. The café is looking for manager who will be able to work from Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Saturday. The manager should be capable to handle situation that will help the organization and he should also be aware of the taste and flavor in food items. He should have an experience in this field for at least 5 years.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibility 1 –

The manager should be able to communicate properly with the staff and the customers and handle situations clearly. He will be responsible to handle adverse situation that the company will be facing. The manager will be solely responsible to manage the situation in the café and manage the staffs accordingly.

Responsibility 2 –

The manager will be responsible to train and manage staff for their behavior and working skill in the café. The manager will help the staff to groom themselves to make the worker suitable to attract the customers and maintain the aristocracy of the café.

Responsibility 3 –

The manager will be responsible for a strong understanding of the flavor and products that are produced by the café. The manager has to check the quality and make sure that the cafe is serving the best product to the customers.

Responsibility 4-

The manager will be responsible to develop and implement the café policies that would benefit the café and help it to expand. The strategy and ideas followed by the manger will determine how well the café will prosper in future and gain success.

A second floor manager is required for the cafe who must be ready to work on Saturdays. It is expected to work for five days a week. However, if the worker is willing to work for four days that can be managed, but Saturdays are must. He must have an experience of five years and must be efficient and skilled with the managerial qualities.

Responsibilities/duties
The duty of the job role is to provide guidance and motivation to the workers to work efficiently. The manager must be able to coordinate and conduct the workers. The manager will be responsible to maintain peace in the workplace and conduct a good relation with the workers and the customer coming to the cafe.

Supervision

The second manager will be supervised by the first floor manager initially. Once the manger is used to the job role then they have to report to the owner on a weekly basis.

Remuneration

The salary will be $24.50 per hour

CoffeeVille opens on several public holidays. You may be required to work on public holidays and will be compensated by payment at the rate of an additional 150%.

Leave

? Annual leave – As a  employee, you will be entitle to pro rata annual leave based on four weeks’ annual leave per annum.

? Sick leave – As a employee, you will be entitled to 10 days paid personal leave per year (pro rata) in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

? Other leave – You are entitle to unpaid parental leave and compassionate leave entitlements in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Notice period

The period of notice required from you to terminate employment with CoffeeVille is the same as the period of notice required of CoffeeVille to terminate your employment and is set out in the following table.

Confidentiality

You shall not, except in the proper course of your duties during the continuance of your employment or after its termination, disclose to any other person or company, or make use for your own benefit, any secret or confidential information relating to CoffeeVille or the customers of CoffeeVille.

Upon termination of your employment, you will promptly deliver up to CoffeeVille or its authorised representative all property, for example, documents, record, papers, credit cards, lists, computer discs or tapes, which may be in your possession or under your control and which relate in any way to the business or affairs of CoffeeVille.
