What we provide

Mental Health Literacy

(MHL) refers to a person's understanding and ideas about mental illness, which can help with diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. It is important because of the high frequency of psychological problems among college students, learning about mental health, which includes knowledge of mental disorders and how to identify, manage, and seek treatment for them. Mental health education refers to the ability to develop and maintain mental well-being, to identify risk factors and indicators of mental illness to seek help when needed, and to reduce stigma. Mental health affects health education as learning about individual mental health and the environment can help reduce health disparities and the burden of health and community services. Awareness, knowledge, and attitudes are three important aspects of learning about mental health Counselling and psychotherapy are operative to the level that they encourage the creativity of clients. Creativity is both a lifestyle and a well-being resource.  (Astell-Burt & Feng, 2019).).

The primary mode of counselling is face-to-face, i.e., physical interaction is done. In this mode, a person can interact with the counsellor, where and what he needs help for. Counselling session is done after having an appointment with our team, and time date of session is shared.  If required, client is asked to visit for more sessions as well. Having someone face to face, releases your emotions easily and can have access to better and quick help. Also, our agency will provide the services through video-conferencing techniques and are available 24*7 via call. This is done in order to provide flexibility to the clients. The counselling agency provides therapies, direct talks, medications and access at all times via video conferencing (for persons having suicidal thoughts). We help the client in understanding the pressures and stress of adults who are struggling with finances, marriages, parents or carrier. Our major client base are adults. The issues faced by them including relationships, finance, parents, work culture are significantly handled. etc. The theoretical approach used by our agency is Psychodynamic counselling (Benveniste, 2021). In this approach the unconscious mind is inculcated. It is mainly used by our agency to encourage clients to consider their childhood traumas to associate what is happening presently beside them. Psychoanalysis is majorly to aware client’s dilemmas which has been bottled-up in unconscious mind (Best & Edwards, 2018).

Challenges of Mental Health

Important characteristics of major mental health and wellbeing conditions. (Inculcate within You before approaching us)

Life satisfaction- A person's capacity to enjoy life is often used as a sign of mental health and well-being. It is generally defined as the context to which one enjoys the most vital aspects of one's life (Craig & Katikireddi, 2020).

Resilience- The ability to recover from hard times has been described as “resilience.” People who are strong and tend to have a positive outlook on their ability to cope with challenges and seek community support when they need it.

Support- Community support is essential for good mental health. Loneliness has been revealed to have many health effects. Decreased social support resulting from lifestyle changes such as going to college, coping with social problems, jobs switch, or getting divorced can have a detrimental effect on mental health.

Lack of mental flexibility has been correlated to certain forms of psychopathology, while studies show that improved flexibility is linked to better quality of life and enhanced resilience.

Most people are unwilling to utilize mental health services for the reason “stigma” of having an “emotional” problem. The public has a tendency to look at mental health issues differently in medicine (Gurvich et al, 2021). If someone breaks a leg, has chest pains, or needs a doctor's prescription, they will see a doctor. However, when depressed, overly anxious, or under the influence of alcohol, they may be embarrassed to ask for help. Many people view these situations as a “weakness” that they must deal with on their own.

Mental health awareness is the knowledge that our psychological well-being, as well as the well-being of our communities, is critical to our own health, productivity, and enjoyment. Your mental health has a substantial bearing on your complete well-being. Being emotionally healthy might benefit you stay healthy and evade many health issues. Optimistic mental well-being creates a lower rate of heart attacks (Khan et al, 2020).  The ability to meditate, to turn our attention to our own thoughts, memories, feelings, and actions is an important aspect of human understanding the processes that are essential for the effective effects of psychotherapy (Palaganas & Estacio, 2018).

Reflexivity has been included as an integral part of intensive research in the social sciences. An in-depth consideration of the position, role and impact of the researcher, and how this shapes the knowledge they form, provides a way to navigate the epistemological threats to the practice of research (McCay et al, 2019).

Important characteristics of major mental health and wellbeing conditions

Mental illness which is known as mental health problems denotes to a variety of mental situations that influence your mood, thought process and behaviour. Some instances of mental illness are sadness, anxiety syndromes, schizophrenia, consumption issues and addictive behaviours. Many individuals have occasional mental health problems. But mental health anxiety develops a mental sickness where persistent symptoms and signs origin constant pressure and influence your capability to perform (Meiklejohn, 2020). This illness can make you feel bad and can root difficulties in your everyday life, like at school or at occupation or in a relationship. In majority of the incidents, the signs can be treated with mixture therapy and psychotherapy. Indicators of mental illness vary, conditional upon the conditions and many added factors (Roodt et al, 2021).

This approach is keenly followed by our agency as it helps in understanding emotions. Research show that psychodynamic therapy is beneficial for discovering and understanding emotions. Through gaining vision into sensitive experiences, clients are more comfortable to distinguish patterns that led to dysfunction and then perform more aware changes. It helps in creating the importance of self-awareness among clients.

Examples of signs and symbols include (If you fall under any, we can help you) Feeling sad ((Titov et al, 2020). Puzzled thinking or abridged ability to concentrate Extreme fear or anxiety, or a feeling of guilt Extreme mood swings  Less interest in friends and activities Severe fatigue, low energy or sleep problems Isolation from reality (deception), paranoia or seeing things that do not exist Inability to deal with daily problems  Problem of understanding relating to situations and people Problems with liquor or drug use Key changes in intake habits Sexual transformation Unnecessary anger or violence Suicide thoughts Symptoms of dementia are sometimes seen as physical problems, such as abdominal pain, back pain, headaches, or other unexplained pain (Williams, Dingle, & Clift, 2018).
