At present, the organization requires a list of things like centralized user authentication for its various customers. The organization requires a printer server for its different users. All the system can easily have the IP addresses from different server by making use of DHCP server. Tobias Estate requires own server so that they can easily host their own website. So the all the business of this organization has been meet by the help of Windows Server 2012. Windows server can be easily defined as any kind of server which is installed, operated and managed by the family of windows server. Windows Server generally comes up with same capability and features which can be used in standard operating environment. It is totally based on windows network architecture. Windows server can easily provide various kinds of server oriented process like ability to host a website, proper management of user and other prominent benefits that the user desires. ADS (Active Directory server) is one of the directory service developed by the Microsoft for the networks that have association with the Windows Domains. It consists of several services that operates on the windows server and are designated with managing permissions and accessing of the network resources.

• The next step would be to type “ServerManager.exe” in the server manager/ PowerShell (as the administrator).
• The next step involves defining of the roles and features wizard where the option of the role-based installation needs to be selected, post which the server from the server pool can be selected. From the server pool the ADS service needs to be added as the feature and define its role post which the installation can be initiated completing the process.

The capability of the ADS to manage and access the organizational network resource along with the services offered by it can assist the subject of the paper to host their website through the use of their own server. The configuration suitable according to the business requirement is the forward lookup zone as it enables the standard format of the server where assigning of the name and resolving it as an IP address is enabled. Additionally, the maintenance of the zone will be kept to self as it will enable the centralization and website hosting which is one of the prominent requirement of the business.

Active Directory Server (ADS)

Web service can be installed from the Add features and roles wizard like the above discussed servers. The configuration of the web server can be done from the Server Manager where the Add Website option needs to be accessed and the site name and path needs to be defined completing the configuration process.

The installation and configuration of the DNS and the web server is in association with the centralization of user authentication, website hosting and the acquiring of the IP addresses. After granting and accept the policies of the DHCP, the IP address needs to be entered in the Router page. The next step involves entering of the Domain name of the internal network on the Domain Name & DN servers page. The final steps involve activating and expanding the scope before closing the tab to complete the process of configuration.

The prominence of the configuration of DHCP is very high as it associated with the IP addresses range, scope and expansion and hence needs to be cited special attention. It also ensures the defining of the network parameters without which the connection to the network will fail and needs attention.

The print server can be installed by accessing the administrative tools where the option of configuration is also available. One of the prominent thing that needs to be keep in notice is that the configuration should be done based on the printing device supported by the system. The printer and Printing devices option can be accessed to detect and play the printer. The share as option available can be used to connect it with the system and a page should be printed to test the success of the configuration before completing the process. The discussed installation and configuration is in association with the business requirement of print server for the users and can satisfy the business needs.
