Youth and Aged Generation's Response to Smart City Planning
Discuss about the Smart City Planning for Society and Space.
Entire mass of the city will be affected due to the proposal of smart city planning. Both the youth and aged generation of the city will be affected in both good and bad sense. Youth will be definitely affected in a positive way as they already have smart phones, which acts as the major remote to the smart city planning system. Usage of smart phones in an efficient way was made by the youth, leading to the fact that they will become the mostly benefitted section of the society. Aged section of the society will be affected in a negative way as the processing of smart phones does not come easy for the aged generation. Cyber criminals will get more opportunities as the database of identities will be stored in the cloud system. Traditional security will get easier as implication of CCTV and other mediums ensures the fact that police and government has control over the entire city.
Normal people will be highly affected with the introduction of the smart platform in the city. This is due to the fact that introduction of digital platform will change the entire scenario of the city. Digitalization will introduce cashless transaction which will not even take into consider the card transaction system. Aged section of the society is not very much acquainted with the usage of the smart phones. Hence problem and chaos will be created during processing of the transaction. On the other hand, youth section of the society will be benefitted as they are well accustomed with the smart phones. This is the major reason that youth section of the society will increase the efficiency of processing their task in the smart city. Introduction of smart communication system in smart city will be another benefit for the organization. This acts as the major reason for the adapting smart platform.
I believe in the fact that change will be introduced in regular activities of the citizens of the organization. As the entire scenario is about to change in the city due to introduction of smart objectives. This is due to the reason that after introduction of the smart platform, the need of reaching out to banks and ticket centres will be stopped (Gabrys, 2014). The fact that net banking will be a profound with the platform will secure the fact that efficiency of the entire process increases as no queue will be required for financial transactions. The major fact that smart communication will be saving time for the citizens of the smart city as booking of cabs can be made with the help of smart phones that must be available in a smart city. Entire concept of recharging system will change as introduction of smart platform will ensure the fact that data an talk time recharge will be unnecessary in nature. These section proves that entire lifestyle of the city will change after introduction of smart city technology.
Effects of Digital Platform and Smart Communication System on Society
Audience that will be affected due to the proposal of WIFI will be the cyber criminals who want to get access to the data that will be stored in the processing of data. This ensures the fact imposters can try and get access to data that are stored in then data centre of the city. This is due to the reason that identity that is stored in the data centre might not be encrypted properly, leading to the fact that accessing to personal information of citizens will be available by the imposters (Dameri & Rosenthal-Sabroux, 2014). On the other hand youth section will also be affected to a great level as they will not require to recharge their data as WIFI will be available throughout the city. Booking of transportation will be helpful as the processing of the database ensures the fact that the booking of the system is very efficient in nature. Telecommunication companies were also affected to a large extent as recharging of data packs will get stopped leading to the fact that those companies will suffer a huge loss. Smart medication is also an advantage that will bring rescheduling of regular activities. In case a patient is suffering from one disease, patients need not visit hospital to get proper treatment. Patients can directly contact doctors with the help of social media, leading to the fact that efficiency of treatment of patients will be done.
Normal people using smart phones will be affected in a positive way as they can get access to data. As people using mobile phones will not understand the need of the manual project completion process (Monzon, 2015, May). This will also increase the corporate sector as they will not need to buy data pack for their project completion. Instead they can use the WIFI provided by the government. This is the reason that manufacturing rate of the business increases as cost incurred in the data connection can be used in the manufacturing process. Entire society will be benefitted as smart communication will be included in this process (Marvin, Luque-Ayala & McFarlane, 2015).
Yes there will be an obvious change in audience behaviour. This is due to the fact that smart city planning will bring a change in entire scenario.
Installation of firewall might be done in order to implement the smart city planning. Installation of firewall will help in keeping the data protected from imposters. Imposters try to gain access to the data that are present in the data centre of the organization. Imposter try to gain access to the data in the data centre is due to the fact that they can get control over the portal of the genuine citizens (Wagner, Brandt & Neumann, 2014). This will also help the imposters from performing nuisance regarding fetching money from banking system of the citizens.
Audience Affected by the Proposal of WIFI and Smart Medication
Setting password can also act as one of the major implication method in portal of the citizens. By setting password to the portal system it can prevent imposters from gaining access to the system. This will help the citizens of smart city will stay protected from imposters (Vanolo, 2014).
Usage of questionnaire after implication of password ensures the fact that imposters will not get access to the data that is present in the data centre. This will provide better security to the processing system.
Identity will be one of the major issue. This is due to the fact that process of stalking identity will be easier for the imposters as the entire data is present in the cloud. Imposters has proper built planning, which they deploy for making the processing of data centre scanning easier for them (Hollands, 2015). This is one of the major reason that identity issues arise in smart cities. Imposters can get access to the password of the portals of the citizens of Singapore, leading to the fact that imposters can act on behalf of the citizens who are genuine in nature. This leads to the fact that conflicts might arise in this case as imposing wrong impression of the citizen will affect the social image of the citizen immensely. Imposters can also get the password of bank account of citizens, leading to the fact that withdrawal of money that are present in the bank of the citizens illegally affects the citizens adversely (Cocchia, 2014). Another major issue can be that the processing of data management in smart cities include the fact that each individual is provided with a unique id number. This leads to the fact that name of citizens are of no importance to the government of Singapore.
Advantages
Major advantages of Firewall are as follows: -
- Cost Efficiency: Cost incurred in the processing of data management and security providence is low compared to other antivirus systems (Shelton, Zook & Wiig, 2015). Initial cost of installing a firewall might be high but after installing the firewall cost rate decreases as days pass by, efficiency of the cost that is used for installing firewall increases.
- Overall protection: the major advantage of firewall is that it provides an overall protection to the entire database, leading to the fact that it prevents malicious codes and software to affect the data centre that has stored the data (Angelidou, 2014).
Disadvantage
Major disadvantage of Firewall is: -
- Lack of robustness: lack of robustness is one of the major issue of firewall (Maye, 2018). Due to the fact that imposters have been constantly evolving and there is no such innovations being made in the firewall makes it easier for imposters to break the security barrier of the firewall
Major advantages of password setting are as follows: -
- High robustness: applying password to the portal of individual helps government to keep the data of citizens protected. As cracking password has been one of the major difficulty that imposters face (Yamamura, Fan & Suzuki, 2017).
- 2 factor security: Password setting acts as the basic stage for 2 factor security system, which provides the maximum security to the systems. This will also help in providing security to the data that are stored in the cloud system.
