You need to create level 3-4 WBS. It should have a minimum of 40 tasks. Use the indented format and level 1 as 4 phases of project life cycle.

Firstly you need to do Activity Estimation i.e. estimate the duration of each activity and Secondly dependencies between eh activities need to be determined before you can create a schedule and MS Project builds the Gann chart. You also need to allocate resources to each activity ( 1 resource per activity)  from the table given below (PS: You do not need to use all the resources listed below, you may use the ones you need to complete your project) Gantt chart should include all the resources allocated  in this project. You should attach the MS project screen shots to prove your workings.

Create a time-phased budget for your example project using bottom-up estimating. As you allocate resources to the activity your budget is being created. After you extract the Gantt chart, revisit the activity list and be sure to check direct labour costs for you and your team has been added and add 20% for fringe.

In this section, State all assumptions and constraints you have used when creating your budget. Give examples of known knowns and known unknowns (these are financial risks) on your project. Describe how you have budgeted for both of them plus how you have budgeted for unknown unknowns 

Create a risk register In the form of a risk register as per the format and example below

It should include: a short statement that reflects your team’s philosophy or objective for ensuring that you deliver a quality system to your client.

Develop and describe 3 quality issues related to this project that your project team could implement to ensure quality

Develop a closure checklist that the project team will use to ensure that the project has been closed properly.

Develop a project evaluation –outline and discuss how your project’s MOV will be evaluated.

Task 1 WBS for social media research center

Project management is one of the crucial and most significant components of successful business operation (Killen, 2013). It creates a well defined impact on problem resolving for particular issue of the business unit. The overall project completion comprises of four phases which are, initiation, planning, implementation & control and project closure. These stages help in effectively defining project activities and ensuring success of the overall project (Davies, Dodgson and Gann, 2016). Present study focuses on evaluating the business issue of David Wright. The university is facing significant issue in delivering authentic and reliable researches for the students. In addition the quality aspect for the organization is not effective. The evaluation will develop a well defined project plan for developing web application for social media research center. This will help the origination in resolving the business issue and deliver quality services to its clients. The project time frame consists of 6 months and the budget is 50000 AUD.  

Work breakdown structure is an effective project management tool which focuses on attaining business objective by delivering a structured and effective evaluation technique for the study. It develops a graphical representation of overall project activities with different levels (Faria, Araújo and Tereso, 2016). The analysis of the same makes it easy and effective for the staff members to understand and cooperate. This tool minimizes the chances of error in the project which helps in generating significant results for the analysis (Gu, Shao and Jiang, 2012). WBS for the present project has been effectively mentioned below. It will develop a clear and significant picture of overall project plan.

Project management is not an easy task to be undertaken. Risk analysis and evaluation is a significant part of the subject. Analysis of risk helps in effective planning and controlling significant impact on budget and time aspect of the study (Werner, Diermaier and Panek, 2011). The present study focuses on developing web application for social media research center. The following risk register will help in defining different risks associated with the project and the impact of the same on completion of project and attainment of significant objectives for the same.

Project management is concerned with attaining research aims and objectives while delivering significant quality for the same (Madter, Bower & Aritua, 2012). Quality management is a crucial and most effective part of the process. It helps in managing and monitoring the project success in the required quality. The present study will ensure to deliver standard and advanced web application for the social media research center which will be developed for the organization. The same has been discussed henceforth.

Task 2 Develop Gantt chart for the project

Quality system analysis

IT projects are highly demanded within the economy in the present era. Companies from every sector are adopting automation aspects in order to create an effective and well defined impact on business operations and objective attainment (Marcelino-Sádaba, Pérez-Ezcurdia & Villanueva, 2014). For the present study, web application will be developed which will help the organization in adopting automated process for carrying out the operations. The project manager will ensure to maintain the quality standards by adopting effective tools and quality management techniques (Wells, 2012). TQM will be adopted for managing the quality standards and success aspects of the given project. This will help in minimizing the errors in the process.

Quality issues

Major quality issues which the firm will be facing and managing are as below:

• Quality planning: The project aims at delivering significant and high quality outcome to the client. In order to attain the stated objective effective quality planning and management is significant (Yang, 2012). Businesses focus on defining quality standards and managing the same to ensure deliverables for the stated project. Quality planning will be done in order to define the expected quality standard for developing web applications. This will integrate the operational aspects for the staff members as well.
• Tools and techniques: Quality tools and techniques are significant aspect of quality results. Implementing proper quality control and managing measures will help the business unit in attaining high growth and development aspects for the project manager (Luke, Cazden and Coopes, 2013). It creates a significant impact on cost and time aspects of project completion as well. The current project will implement Total Quality Management technique to manage quality standards for the project (Killen, 2013). Under this technique the quality aspects will be analyzed and evaluated at every phase of web development which will ensure minimization of error. Thus effective results will be attained.
• Quality control: Mere planning and defining tools may not be able to deliver effective results for the project. In order to control quality the project manager will ensure to take effective and timely audits (Davies, Dodgson and Gann, 2016). The comparison of actual outcome will be compared to expected outcome and the gap will thus be filled by implementing effective strategies of quality control.

The final stage of project management is crucial and significant for the success and growth of the project. This stage deals with closure and evaluation aspects. The stated measure will be evaluated as below:

Project evaluation

The project evaluation is one of significant and most crucial part of project management. It helps in attaining well defined results for the stated study. The project evaluation of the present project will be done on the basis of project MOV. These are mentioned as under:

• Scope: The scope of the current project was to resolve client’s issue of ineffective quality reports for the university through developing effective web application for social media research center (Kao, Hudmon and Corelli, 2011). The scope of the project was effective attained and delivered to the client.  
• Schedule: Project management demands completion of the project in stated time. This will help in ensuring effective goal attainment and managing the cost as well. The project manager managed the schedule and delivered the project in expected time.
• Budget: Budget is one of the most critical aspects of project management. This help in attuning the project aim within the expected budget. The project manager developed an effective web application in the proposed budget.
• Quality: The stated project was developed and delivered in standard quality which helps in ensuring project success and client satisfaction simultaneously.

Conclusion

Project management helps in effectively understanding the business problem and drafting effective strategy for the same in order to attain high and successful operational aspects. The above study reflected a well defined process of project management and completion. Tools such as WBS, Gantt chart and budgeting revealed the significant progress of the project. It can be concluded from the study that every stage of project management is crucial and significant for project completion and success within the market.
