Week 1

My 12 week learning course assisted me in selecting the most useful and contemporary business research topic. The literature review of assignment 1 has facilitated me in framing effective research questions in assignment 2. The study will discuss about my learning courses conducted during 12 weeks.

In 1st week, I came to understand about different aspect of business research for conducting research of any particular research topic. I become aware about accurate research structure, reasoning and practical aspects of the business researches. Apart from that, I also learned about several research methodologies for collecting authentic research information. In this week, I came across different names of business research topics. The business research topic was on contemporary business issues. Among the learned business research topics, I chose the most interesting and useful topic on E-Commerce on business.

In this week, I came across several theories and concepts about e-commerce in relation to business. The concept and knowledge about several theories on business research topic assisted me framing effective research questions. In this week, I also understood the importance of e-commerce of business performance. In this way, such concepts and theories enhanced theoretical knowledge about business research. Furthermore, such theoretical knowledge also facilitated me in writing concrete literature review in assignment 1.

In 3rd week, I actually framed literature review on the topic of e-commerce in business. I gathered huge theoretical knowledge about the research topic in the previous week. The knowledge from the previous week facilitated in conducting effective literature review on the research topic. Apart from that, in the 3rd week, I also gathered several secondary sources for collecting detailed and in-depth knowledge about research topic. Furthermore, the previous literature about the research topic assisted me in incorporating more valuable information in the literature review. The huge knowledge gathered from the secondary sources can assist me in dealing with several contemporary business research issues in future.

In 4th week, I realized the significance research questions for completing the research study successfully. I understood that both primary and secondary research questions are of similar importance for collecting authentic information about the research topic. Both primary as well as secondary research questions are used for serving different purpose towards successful completion of research study. I realized that primary research questions serve the fundamental and basic information about the research study. On the other hand, secondary research questions collect more detailed information about the research study. Therefore, I framed both primary and secondary research questions for collecting fundamental and in-depth research information.

In 5th week, I came to know about several types of research methodologies for collecting accurate research information. I identified the differences between qualitative and quantitative research methods for collecting relevant research information. Moreover, the knowledge about several research methods has facilitated in identifying the best research method in assignment 2.

In this week, I came to know about the significance of sampling technique and sampling size for gathering accurate research information. Sample size and sampling technique are both significant for collecting accurate quantitative as well as qualitative research information. Furthermore, I also understood that accurate sampling technique would help in collecting most useful information from the respondents in most reliable manner.

Week 3

Huge knowledge from the previous week regarding the research methodologies enhanced my confidence to select most appropriate and effective research methodology for data collection purpose. I chose the most appropriate research methodology for data collection after evaluating its relevance with the research topic. I selected both qualitative and quantitative research method for collecting accurate information about importance of E-Commerce in clothing business of Saudi Arabia. The enhanced knowledge about qualitative and quantitative research methods would facilitate me conducting more effective research study in my future career.

In this week, I decided to select the most appropriate sampling size and sampling technique for gathering more accurate and relevant research information. Moreover, I opted for random sampling technique for gathering selected respondents. Such sampling technique would facilitate me gathering the selected respondents at their convenient place for smooth data collection process. In case of sample size, I selected 150 people for survey, who are mostly 18 years of old and tend to purchase products through e-commerce sites. Furthermore, I also selected interview method for conducting qualitative research on research topic.  

In 9th week, I learned about different data analysis techniques for extracting right meaning of the collected data. I realized that appropriate data analysis technique facilitates in analyzing the right meaning of the collected data from the selected respondents. In this way, the understanding of several data analysis technique facilitated me in selecting the best data analysis technique for collecting information about the research topic.

In this week, I finally selected appropriate data analysis method for extracting specific information from the general information collected from the respondents. Moreover, I selected SPSS method for analyzing collected data. The SPSS analysis would help in evaluating the broader patter of collected data, which will enhance the quality of ultimate research result.

In 11th week, I realized the importance of time schedule for successful completion of the research study. The formulation of time schedule can also facilitate me in completing the research study within exact time.

In this week, I evaluated the overall expected outcome of the research study. I evaluated the expected outcome of the research based on the data collected from secondary sources and other empirical evidences. I would facilitate me in getting overall assumption of the final research outcome.

Conclusion

While concluding my reflective journal, it can be said that the learning course has wide contribution on me in properly conducting the literature review and research proposal. The knowledge about research approach, research design, data collection method, and sampling and data analysis method have enhanced my confidence to successfully completing the research study.
