Stakeholders and Their Responsibilities

1. Consider how you are going to work as a team, how will you divide tasks, make decisions, do work, manage problems, communicate? Make a plan at the beginning, and keep notes about what is working well and what isn’t working well as you’re going through.

2. Do a stakeholder analysis for the new web site. Identify the stakeholder groups, and for each group briefly explain why and how they have a stake in the system.

3. Choose a project management approach (i.e. Scrum, AgilePM, Scrumban, Waterfall etc.) and produce an outline schedule for the project, using an appropriate technique.

4. Decide which stakeholder groups you would gather requirements from, which requirements gathering techniques you would use, and when you would gather requirements.

5. Write some high-level requirements using an appropriate technique.

6.Write a team report that contains:

a. A stakeholder analysis using an appropriate technique. Include a list of the stakeholders in each category and an explanation of their stake in the system.

b. State which project management approach you would choose and briefly describe it.

c. The outline project schedule.

d. A description of which requirements gathering techniques you would use, which stakeholder groups you would use them with and when you would gather them.

e. The high-level requirements.

f. A brief description of team work, how the team was organised, how you communicated, and who did what.

7. Write an individual report  that discusses the following issues, and relates them to theory and ideas found in academic literature:

a. A critical evaluation of your choices for project management approach, outline schedule and requirements work. Include a discussion of how these choices affect project risk, code quality and delivery of value to the customer .

b. A critical evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of your team work and how you managed it. Include a discussion of techniques you used or could have used (about 800 words).

c. A discussion of the professional and legal issues that may arise when developing or running the website.

Also, ensure that in your report you:

d. Reference correctly by citing in the text and listing references at the end using any appropriate format.

e. Write in your own words and where you use the ideas of others, give a reference. Only use short direct quotes. Summarise rather than quote, using points from your sources to support your arguments. 
 

Lizzie Leather belt Company wants to expand their business by developing a web portal of their enterprise to step out into the online global market. The flow of communication should be maintained between different working teams so as to build high level coordination between team members and undertaken project processes (Pan, 2013).

The purpose of this paper is to increase the sale of the Lizzie Leather belt Company through the development of the online web portal for the firm. The efficient distribution of roles and responsibility of the stakeholder helps in managing the delivery of the project on time and within the estimated cost (Moertini, 2014).

The development of the online web portal for the company was undertaken through the incorporation of Agile methodology with the inclusion of scrum. The methodology begins with the clear perception of the project goal by intensifying the need and requirement of the project owner. With the completion of the time box, the meeting should be arranged with the project owner to clarifies the requirement and the project done (Yamamoto, 2011). The following diagram shows the working of the agile scrum project methodology for the completion of the project. 

The marketing director, M. Chiang, and its team is chosen for collecting the information related for the development of website. The team members help the web designer by providing them the relevant information about the marketing competitors and the functional modules incorporated in their website. The team members work forward during the requirement gathering and analysis phase. 

Conclusion

The online sale of leather belts helps in improving the profit of the company to the large extent by making it popular among the new and existing customers.
