Biologically speaking, the society is generated form the women as the ability of giving birth lies only with the women. However, they were not treated as respectable after men realised that the only way to oppress women is to set several rules across them to deny their rights. Various researchers are of the opinion that it was after the realisation that unlike the physical strength, women were as powerful as men were in all aspects.

Since the early rise of civilization; however, it was not the scenario and in several historical stories, we have found that the society provided women the same respect as men. In several theories it has been found that the figurines and statuettes of women were also treated and respected as Goddesses in several forms of civilizations. The idea that the contribution of the women to the society was considered as one of the most important ones, made the people involved in the society understand the importance of women and their capabilities. If the role of women was considered in the further generations, it was found that the position of women in the society started to vary based on the position of the race in the society that the women belonged to. The idea of providing several societal rights to women was being thought about and imposed on them even. As more of the people started to travel, they gathered the information about how every place they visit has been treating the women in their society. The development of the results started to show differences in the treatment of the women in the different statures of the society. Where, the people living in the higher levels of the society still recognized the contribution of women in the society, the lower strata of the society was found to be differing from this situation where the women were treated as abject slaves, even drastically when the people would treat the women as objects. The society developed the unanimous thought in most of the cases where the women were denied of the equal rights and the men were treated as the sole powerful entity of the society. The concept of marriage was changed, the husbands were treated as the owner of the power of life and death for their wives and took all the decisions for them. Women were denied of all the fundamental rights and were treated as the part of the society who were only required for providing the family with a future male heir or to abide by the rules and regulations set by the husband. The husbands even had the right to decide for the wives and were even entitled to use them as a form of barter or treat them is any way that they would find feasible to treat them.

Women's rights and societal changes

The personal lives of people and their way to treat the women reflected on the society such that the women were not allowed to pursue their career or even practise their rights in the society. Instead, they were kept at home, secluded, and even socializing with men were treated as a vice for the women. The society started to characterise the socialization of women as a mark of their character as well. The way that the society had been treating women were suddenly changed and had such an impact that still in several parts of the world today, the women are treated just the same, even with the changed face of the society and the role of the women in the society have already changed.

It was seen that slowly that the society in the entire world had profoundly witnessed a sea change and this had been an extremely huge impact on the society that people live in today. The age-old society where men controlled every activity of the women to limit and control the abilities of the women were frowned upon and the changes found the recognition for the women to stand equally as the men and find their own place in the society. It was such that the role of the women was not only changed in their respective households, but they were also changed in the major areas that shaped the society, including the accelerating rate at which the women started to contribute. The women slowly started to shower their capabilities on different phases of the society including the pursuing of their careers in major societal areas of Politics, Professional Jobs with the requirement of thorough training, Law, Business, Medicine and many more. It is evident that the place off women in the political grounds were still a matter of time and initially, they were not included in the society. However, the advancements have made it evident that the capabilities of the women can also reflect on to the society in the form of providing leadership to the society and even capable of being entitled to the forms of politics that are found in the offices.

The first step to this drastic change in the society that came in with the understanding that the women need to be educated. Education was at some point of time denied to the women as well. The understanding of the society around us and the knowledge that needed to be gathered were not allowed for the women, which slowly started to change. Women, after being educated, started to attain all the required knowledge about the society and started to enlighten themselves with more acquired knowledge. With more gathered knowledge, came in the opportunity to improve the status for the society by helping each other and putting the other women of the society in terms with the education system who were not exposed to the rights that women should enjoy.

Education and empowerment of women

Women started to claim their right to the society and started gathering information about the rights of women in the society and how the society has denied them altogether. The availability of technology also provided the women with the power of information right at the point of need. The changes were not abrupt, and they were not even easier to achieve. People in the society who still had the ability of putting down or denying the rights of women, did not make it easy a process to make women gather their deserving rights. Therefore, women had to suffer a lot while trying to change the society where they would no longer be regarded as a part of the society who would only dependent upon the males in the society and would be used for the purpose of providing heirs to the society. Previously, the women were not allowed to assume the roles that men used to enjoy in the society. However, this idea was absolutely changed with the involvement of the education provided to the women in the society. Right now, the women in the society freely can assume the roles that were previously entitled by the men for assuming. Thus, the generations of the oppressions that women used to face from the different aspects of the society was slowly becoming obsolete, not ceasing to exist nevertheless.

The women have started to think about their self-respect and their need for recognition in the society, the right to education and the right to take in the societal responsibilities to lead the society to further growth, given the acquired knowledge that the women gathered through education as well. Women are now treated as equal beings in the society in most part of the world around civilizations and this is also backed up by the technology that enhanced the availability of information in the women in the society. Technology made is much easier for the women not just by providing the adequate information to them at any time that they require, but also by developing several other ways by which the daily household jobs were much simplified with the influence of technology. Thus, the changes that were implemented on the women were somewhat owed to the development of knowledge and technology. The more the women started to become entitled to be included in the activities that were solely regarded as “men’s work”, the perceptions of the society changed from being men-centric to the equalist society.

The women are now regarded as a much stable, responsible and consistent as a personality who has the capability of serving the society with a much more stable hand and the ability to cope up with the long-term challenges. The society is now ready for accepting to be led by a woman and attaining the ability to understand how the manifestation of the society leadership would be handled well by the female brain in the same way as a male brain. The most important factor in the society lies in the idea of equality, where the women right now do not claim to be greater than men in all aspects, but have the right to be treated as equal to men in all aspects.
