Both qualitative as well as quantitative methods will be used in this research as this will help in gaining more information and understand the different procedures to address the diversity in inclusive classrooms. According to Cahnmann-Taylor and Siegesmund, (2017), the entire data will be collected during different visit to the local schools from observation in the classroom and in depth focus group interviews as well. Proper analysis of the key documents strategy helped in generating the teaching and learning methods in inclusive classroom.

Design of research

The section refers to the different plans of the research project and proper guidelines are required to be created as this will help in providing proper order and direction and assist in maintaining proper focus as well. According to Wang, (2015), the design of the research detailed different kind of issues that are involved in executing and planning of the project. The research design is Sequential Exploratory, as both the qualitative as well as quantitative data will be used to collect the data in an effective manner (Flick, 2014). In order to explore the learning and teaching methods in inclusive classroom, the researcher used the mixed multiple methods of different observations along with document and focus group interviews. The case study helped in gaining in depth and proper understanding of practice as to facilitate informed decision making that is bounded system (Creswell & Creswell, 2017).

Research Philosophy 

Robson and McCartan, (2016) commented that the philosophies of research help in providing knowledge along with dimension of the research study. There are three types of philosophical approaches are positivism, interpretavism, post positivism as well as realism. The positivism approach helps in examining the different aspects of research by the usage of reality as well as philosophies that are relevant in nature. Furthermore, the post positivism approach aims in cross checking the different data that will be gathered from the study that is specific in nature (Lester & Lester Jr, 2015). Lastly, the realism research philosophy deals with reality objective of the study.

Justification of philosophy 

For this case study, positivism philosophy of the research will be selected and it is based on profound as well as keen observation. The different positivists believe that observation for the entire research may be repeatable and this can be isolated in nature. The positivism approach will be followed, the entire research study will not consume much time and this will acquire different data that is essential in nature. Therefore, the study of the research followed positivism approach for conducting the entire analysis within limited budget and time.

Positivism Philosophy and Deductive Approach of Research

Research Approach 

The two types of the approaches of research are Inductive and Deductive. The approach that is deductive in nature aims in testing different past theories and models for the research study. On the other hand, the inductive research helps in aiming in generation of new models and theories according to the data that has been gathered (Göransson & Nilholm, 2014).

Justification of approach 

The research study has utilized the deductive approach of research and this is competent for accomplishing the different goals with existing as well as past models as well as theories along with proper hypothesis testing. With proper consideration of inductive approach, it is possible that research study will face different risks as the different models or theories may not be relevant to the specific issue in the research study. Therefore, the deductive research approach is used to test models as well as theories.

Research Purpose

Lewis, (2015) commented that there are different kind of purposes of research are descriptive, explanatory as well as exploratory. The purpose of research helps in providing proper structural purpose of research that is necessary for conducting entire study. The exploratory purpose helps in focusing on the exploring research issue for identification of problem of research for various perspectives. Furthermore, explanatory purpose helps in explaining entire research study in detailed manner (Collins 2017).

Justification of the research purpose 

The entire research study has aimed in utilizing the purpose of the research. The respective study has helped in identifying and evaluating the proper importance of inclusive classroom in different schools. The descriptive research purpose if essential in nature as this will be successful for evaluation of relevant information along with data for various perspectives. This kind of research purpose is not time consuming in nature as well.

Research Strategy 

The particular research will be conducted with following of the procedure related to survey. The entire study utilized the survey strategy for proper collection of necessary as well as relevant data and analyzed the data that will be gathered for investigation of entire study of research. The grounded theory strategy will be used, as this will help in analyzing the concept of inclusive classroom.

Data Collection process 

The process of data collection is one of the main aspects of the study of research with collection of different kind of data that is relevant in nature. This is helpful in conducting the study in an organized manner. The process of data collection will be interviews and surveys that will be conducted in different local schools to understand the concept of inclusive classroom.

Sampling Technique and Data Collection

Sources of data 

Mastropieri and Scruggs, (2017) commented that the sources of data are two types that is primary and secondary in nature. Both primary and secondary data will be collected through survey of data of the different schools and the secondary data is collected from different sources related to the particular topic from different local schools about inclusive classroom.

Analysis of data technique 

There are two kinds of data analysis technique such as qualitative as well as quantitative in nature. For this particular analysis, both quantitative and qualitative techniques will be applied for proper analysis of gathered data from the different schools. The proper qualitative analysis will be presented with the help of SPSS analysis and excel sheet as well.

Technique of Sampling 

The two kinds of techniques of sampling are probability and non-probability in nature. The probability sampling is chosen in this particular research for selecting the different schools in the entire city.

Before performing the entire study, proper consent of the different respondents is required and the sheet of the survey has to be duly signed as well. With the help of collection of data, the study has maintained proper ethics, as per the data protection act, the privacy has to be maintained, and no such collected data has been leaked other than different ones for academic purpose.

The assumption that will be analyzed and taken in this particular study is relating to the effectiveness in the inclusive classroom approach. There will be no such kind of disability and issues in the professional development learning and this helps in addressing the different provisions for the inclusive classroom approach as well.

Limitations 

There are different limitations in the particular assumption wherein the methodology is time consuming in nature. Furthermore, this helps in addressing the different approaches, but the topic is narrower in nature and it does not clearly focuses on different fields and approaches. This particularly focuses on the specific study that cannot cover the different aspects of the inclusive classroom approach.

Delimitations 

There are different delimitations in the particular approach that includes there is no such wide scope for the entire study of the Inclusive classroom approach. This is a narrow concept wherein both quantitative as well as qualitative approaches will be followed, but there are limitations that need to be addressed. This kind of approach is costly as well as time consuming in nature.
