The purpose of this assignment is to develop a well-researched project planning document based on the overall parameters of a networking related project, establish an appropriate project management plan, and quality environment required to complete the chosen project. Furthermore, analyse project issues, conduct post-project review (i.e., lessons learned) and make recommendations for improvements for future projects. It addresses the following learning outcomes:

Demonstrate project leadership skills; identify and assess risk in designing, executing a major project;

Critically reflect on current project management ethics, research, and theory and practice;

Lead and manage projects effectively through planning, leadership, monitoring, teamwork, and global awareness;

The paper mainly focuses on the Network Infrastructure upgrade for an organization in Australia. It is identified that the present network infrastructure of the company is incapable of managing the entire business processes due to expansion and therefore the organization is facing number of issues and challenges. It is found that in order to resolve the challenges, the higher authority of the organization generally wants to upgrade the network infrastructure of the organization. It is identified that upgradation of network infrastructure generally assists in managing the entire business process of the company effectively. The upgradation of the network infrastructure will be completed within the timeframe of 12 months by assuming that the project will be initiated on 8^th June 2018. It is identified that the entire project will be completed by 31st September 2019. The objectives of the project are listed below:

• To upgrade the network infrastructure for an organization
• To manage all the business functions as well as operations
• To access the data from different branches of the organization at a single time

The requirements of the project are mainly categorized into functional as well as non-functional requirements of the project.

Reliability: The network infrastructure must be reliable and thus can be capable of managing the information and data quite effectively.

Maintainability: Proper facility of maintenance must be provided to the network infrastructure so that the entire system can be effectively maintained.
