• Talent identification athlete management and selection have designed a set of test of such as Foundation (Non-Elite, F1, F2, F3 test ), Talent (Pre-Elite, T1, T2, T3, and T4 test)
• Factors considered in the test: The major key elements considered in the design is establishment of physical literacy, learning execution of fundamental movement foundation such as throwing, coaching, jumping, climbing and running. On the other side, in the non-elite program, the major factors considered are physical movement domains which could indicate future potential.

This means I would additionally design a skill development program for the players who seek to develop their individual playing skills because this program helps to keep regular follow-up of individual’s performance

• Five elements: Skills, fitness, communication, group development and concentration skills
• These skills will be done based on a criteria, for example, ensuring whether the players are able to deal with the failure or any other emotional challenges, whether the players are able to communicate with the coach and other mentors
• Other tests: Physical, social and psychological

Elite & Mastery: The talent haunt program that Australian Cricket has, is Elite and Mastery, which is associated with Australia Cricket Pathway. This program provides a clear and attractive pathway for existing and new young players to enhance their talents. The following are some of the areas that are covered by “Australian Cricket Pathway Talent program”

Eligibility: Australian Cricket Talent Pathway developed a set of criteria to select young players who apply to the talent haunt program. Firstly, the required age for “under 13” is 13 years old maximum and likewise, for the category of “under 19” talent program, the age limit is 19 years.

The talent haunt program of Australian Cricket is MILO in 2Cricket skills, which is a four week curriculum aligned test program that is treated as the learning program for the young learners with all abilities. This skill test program is of four week of duration. The scope for new players to this program is always high and extending.

Past performance is a highly necessary field in the talent haunt program designed by Australia Cricket. Whenever, a new participant is enrolled in the program, the past and recent performance of the participant is always analysed and scrutinized.

- The male talent pathway has categorized the young players by their age group. The age criteria for young players in Australia starts from 13 years, which means State Challenge Cricket program for young players is termed as “Under 13, Under 14, Under 15, Under 16, Under 15 and this goes on till Under 19. Each group is entitled to have 8 sides in the sport.

Australian Cricket and its talent haunts programs tend to support the grassroots cricket clubs and players by providing a wealth of resources to assist the young player. In addition, during the program, Australia Cricket hold high performance and administrative employees hired from Cricket NSW and Cricket Act, which would act as “one team” to provide support to the young cricketers. This program ensures that all players in the pathway receive an equal amount of coaching as well as playing experiences. The program authority ensures that program has visible efficiencies in delivery of learning. In addition, during the delivery of the implementation, Australian Cricket Association ensure that there is a complete alignment fir communication and stakeholder engagement.

The Australian Cricket and talent haunt program does not have any monetary scholarship for the contestants or the young cricket players but it provides access to subsidised cricket equipment for the participants once they delivered the test. However, Australian Cricket and the associates will provide professional development opportunities for the participants.

Test in Place

This talent haunt program designed by Australian Cricket does not set up any major psychological test and but when selecting the participant for the program, the psychological test is done on the basis of increased self-esteem, development of strategies to deal with challenges and mistakes, confidence and concentration skills.  However, for the international selection of cricket players, the Australian Cricket Board design the psychological test for the team players.

Australia Cricket designed the MILO in 2CRICKET Skills Program for testing the skills of young players. In addition to this, Australian Cricket has also designed club program matches where players from different regions can take part. The players’ skills are tested on the basis of the long-term performance of the organization.

In order to evaluate the skills and performance of each new player, the Cricket NSW and Cricket Act present themselves as “one team” which deliver the learning program to the new players. In such delivery of program, all players in the pathway receive similar coaching as well as playing experience. The performance of the players are evaluated based on the performance in the respective field.  For example, the revised female talent pathway provides enhanced strength and conditioning program for the players.

For cricket to maintain its health and position in Australian way of life, the port should stay relevant, accessible as well as inclusive to all Australians. The Australian Cricket Privacy Policy which develops a set of privacy polies for the new talents who are taking part in the talent program. For example, Australian Cricket Association does not disclose the personal information of the players and the board ensure that the information is only used for personal test. The association ensure the information is not shared with any third vendor in middle of contact. In addition, during the program, the even authority rely on the adequacy and accuracy of perianal information as provided to them. According to thee organizational policies all respondents are supposed to submit the original documents as their personal information.

The Australian Cricket and the Associates have added the inclusion of Cricket school curriculum across primary and secondary school that have been identified as achieving some major boarders. Such initiatives could promote thinking, communication as well as the problem solving skills. In addition, Cricket Australian may also be working with the curriculum teams such as ACARA and ACHPER country to enhance resources in line with the New National Curriculum.

Age Requirement for Talent Program

Australian Cricket has made a significant investment into the coaching structure by CNSW and CA to enhance the calibre. The board has designed increasing number of coaching sessions has been designed to train the players. The board has also increased the volume of training activity in Academy program may increase. The talent pathway designed for the new players help to provide enhanced strength and conditioning program for the new talents.

Australian Cricket provides several benefits for children as well as the adults who take part in the program. These programs are designed physically, socially and psychologically. In the counselling stages, some major areas are usually emphasized such as improved fitness, lower resting rates, higher oxygen capacity, development of new friendship groups, communication development and other aspects.

Australian Cricket does not have any major international working partners but it has extending relationship with indoor and State’s cricket Club. So, these State’s club contribute to the development of Talent Haunt Program.

The new talents or the players have played in Kookabura Cup or Bradman Cup are categorized as “Country Origin” players. This Country Origin criterion only applies for under 19 and for under 17, the players are only eligible for the selection in the ACT /NSW country side, if they play cricket in the country origin.
