The fact that the purchase of cigarettes can be costly is displayed in the poster. The poster tries to send a message that says that it is not a good way to spend money as smoking can only result in life loss. Hence, people can spend cash on purchasing products or consuming edibles that can have a provide safety of life. Thus, the innovative manner in which visual designers communicate with the public is important to choose visual design as a topic for analysis.  However, Ching, Jarzombek and Prakash (2011) stated that the message sent by the visual designers need to be clear and convenient for people to understand. Broad sentences are not required instead relevant statement can be used in order to convey the message to the people. In the case of the poster described, the message is appropriate in communicating about the effectiveness of smoking.

Enhance career growth: Ingersoll and Kostof (2013) stated that visual designing could help in setting up a career of a person. This is because the designing creative posters, logos and leaflets can attract the attention of reputed organisations. Organisations look to employ graphic designers in order to promote their products and perform corporate social responsibility that helps in increasing its profitability. In order to do so in an effective manner, organisations tend to recruit people that are potent in visual designing. Designing of company logo can also be done with the help of the visual designers. The logo of a company is considered as an important factor that develops a brand image. Hence, the career of an individual can grow if visual designing is adopted as a full-time career. It can also be considered for part-time jobs for people that enjoy creativity. It has been stated by Goldhagen (2005) that visual designing as a career helps in the satisfaction of a person intended for creative learning. Such careers are usually fun as people get to display their ideas in public and get a huge payroll for doing so. A visual designer earns about $21.22 per hour of work that is done by them. Learn new things:

From the image, it is seen that Google creates various designs during events that hold national significance. These designs are to pay tribute to the national and international events based on the country in which the events take place. Professional visual designers that make a proper research about the ways to incorporate these ideas perform these works (Hunt, 2014). These provide people with the knowledge that national events are also of importance. Some of the designs are developed only for a specific place such as the Mid-Autumn festival in China, Japan and Taiwan. Thus, the people creating these designs enjoy a high pay grade along with their work as the creativity remains unique and is appreciated by other people. However, Gorman (2003) stated that creating these designs require lots of stress and focus. It is advisable to take up a career in this field only if the person is willing to work hard and dedicate focus to the designs. Thus, the urge for learning new things is important in order to develop a career in visual designing. It has been seen that many paintings are created with the use of technological tools such as Illustrator or CorelDraw. This can help in making the picture more clear and aim to provide a proper message to the people. However, one needs the training to implement such talent. Hence, people with an urge to learn further can be interested in the topic as it provides opportunities to develop a creative side of the individuals.
