Scope Management Plan for Virtual Reality Gaming Zone

The ER diagram is used for expressing the relationship which exist between the guardian, page ranker, and administrator to manage the entrance of the guardian into the new system of virtual child international park with the permission of the administrator (Mazuryk and Gervautz, 2011). The administrator is responsible for process control over the activities. The logical and physical DFD are constructed to highlight the relationship between physical entities and their representation at conceptual level. The DFD diagram helps in representing the information in the sequential manner.

The purpose of this project is to develop the world of fantasy for the children and make them connected to the reality by using different theme games. The goal of this paper is to demonstrate the working of the entire system with the help of data flow diagram and entity relationship diagram to express the way different units communicate with each other for the smooth flow of operation.

The Virtual child international park was developed to attract children towards the game zone from all over the world. The virtual gaming zone is helpful in providing different themes to connect the child with the world of reality. The library module of the VCI is used for getting solution to the problems if faced during the game. The tutorial system is used for getting training to work on the virtual reality environment. The guardian has to pay payment for taking any extra activities. The invoice of the park ranker is charged on the basis of hours dedicated on the virtual reality platform. The guardians are having the authentication to get the required information about their invoices so as to do the payment within the mentioned line to avoid penalty which is associated with the late fee submission. It is required to submit the fees within the period of 35 days from the day of entrance. The overrunning of the hours will be charged with fine. The bonus point can be achieved by the guardian during the entrance test of the VCI system. The maximum number of answers given by the guardian in minimum period of time helps in adding bonus point to their invoice. The park ranker should make use of the tutorial module before entering into the virtual park because it helps in reducing the time wasted on learning the platform of virtual reality.

In-Scope activities and Out of scope activities

The quality of the project is depends upon its scope management plan which should be designed according to the requirement specification plan which is placed on the development of virtual reality gaming zone. The developed model of virtual reality park should be capable of providing various services to the customers who have taken their membership program. The park ranker’s are provided with the facility of tutorials which are provided to them to make them familiar about the working environment of the virtual reality gaming zone, Use of library function to get the knowledge about the specific term during the working on the virtual world, and others (Jaligama and Liarokapis, 2014). The certificates are provided to the park ranker for having membership on the system and getting scores on the virtual world. The goal of this paper is to demonstrate the working of the entire system with the help of data flow diagram and entity relationship diagram to express the way different units communicate with each other for the smooth flow of operation. The DFD and ER diagrams are used for showing the relationship between different processes undertaken. The flow of activities helps in identifying the clear requirement of the user to overcome the problem of distraction with the end product (Vie, 2013). The following table shows the in scope and out-of scope activities which should be arranged in the process block in terms of their priority associated with for completing the project of virtual park. The quality of the output can be measured on the basis of attracting new guardians towards the system. The growing rate of guardian is used for estimating the success or failure of the project. Type of Customer = Guardian / Child

Child Age = 10 to 15

Payment Mode= Cheque / credit card

Types of facilities = Tutorial facilities / Library function facilities

Guardian Address = House no + Street + Locality + Landmark + State + Country

Date of Birth = Date + Month + Year

Guardian Name = First Name + Middle Name + Last Name

Email ID = Email ID + Verification

Total Hours = No of hours worked

Use case Payment of Fees

Membership payment = Park Ranker ID + Total cost

Invoice = Invoice Number + Park Ranker ID + Name of guardian / child + total hours + cost per hour + Bonus point + penalty + Invoice Date

1. Entrance Form: The first step is to fill the entrance form by the guardian to become the member of the Virtual reality park
2. Payment of fees: After depositing the fees, the guardian is provided with the Park ranker ID which is used for entering into the gaming world.
3. Total hour: The number of hours worked on the virtual system is calculated for manging accuracy in the payment amount. The bonus point are subtracted whereas penalty of late submission is added
4. Invoice Management: The total hours is multiplied with cost per hour for getting the information related to the dues of guardian which has to be paid by them to remain the member of the gaming world
5. Cancellation of the membership: The membership of the guardian will be cancelled if the amount is not paid for the period of two months.
