Then the finance and administration department intervenes and after evaluating the director’s review and hearing to the sub-contractor’s request further modification is done based on their choice.

In order to understand the credibility of any sub-contractor, the Contractor Performance Evaluation Report is being prepared (Bruman, Mumovic & Kimpian, 2014). The electrician who is going to be appointed as a sub-contractor should be rated in their evaluation report and their previous grading should be considered before appointing them. They are graded as Superior, Good, Standard, Deficient and Inadequate depending on the score they achieve on selected criterion. The electrician getting above 85% score is usually termed as Superior and the one getting below 54% is termed as inadequate performer

Remedial or disciplinary action is undertaken against the subcontractor in accordance with organisational policy and operational guidelines where appropriate

The primary responsibility of the State Housing Authority is to look after the fact that the responsibility of constructing any housing complex should be given to the lowest yet equally efficient and responsible bidder. It must also be kept into focus that the sub-contractor who gets the contract must follows the laws and regulations set by the housing authority in that area. While giving sub-contract to an electrician, it is the responsibility of the contractor to look after the past record of the electrician in maintaining the standard in the materials used by him in his previous projects (Barlett et al., 2016).
