The transgender have faced a lot of issues in the society out of which provision of dedicated bathrooms is a noticeable one. The above point remained a point of conversation in the recent years. This has remained an area that needs focus and concentration. The transgender have been marginalized by the society. They have been devoid of availing all kinds of facilities in the society. In spite of many policies related to human rights and regulations the transgender has been denied to give the rights. They have been devoid of all the social facilities which include the right to use the public washrooms. They are forced to use private or separate bathrooms. They are isolated in this way by the members of the society. Several people having an orthodox view claims that they feel uncomfortable by the presence of the transgender people (Norman 2015). According to the law of nondiscrimination the transgender are not supposed to be denied of using the public washroom. The reason for avoiding them is that they have no specific gender identity. Some transgender prefer to live as men and the others prefer to live as women. They are known to be non-binary people. The reason for the fact is they don’t identify themselves completely as male or completely as female. The other people consider that the non-binary people should be given a separate washrooms as they land up in using the washroom of both male and female. This is the reason the others feel uncomfortable to use the public washrooms. They consider it is not safe for them to use the same washroom that is used by the non-binary people (Hermann-Wilmarth, Lannen and Ryan 2017).

Being born as a transgender is not the choice of any individual. A person has no control over that. The freedom of any individual should not be violated because of certain rules and certain regulations (Moffit 2015). The nondiscrimination law opines the fact that every individual have the right to live with complete liberty. Everyone, including the transgender people should be treated equally under the law. The trans-inclusive policies don’t require anyone to change their religious beliefs. They simply ensure that the transgender people have the right to live, to work, to study and they can participate in the public life as well. They have certain legal protections but those are implemented or followed strictly. There should be some other strong laws that should be strong and comprehensive in the field of on-discriminative (Seibel et al. 2018). They are human being but with different feature. The individuals should be made aware and they should be educated about the existence of the transgender. The dignity of the transgender should be safeguarded by the people of the society. This should be made aware that forcing the transgender people to use private or separate bathrooms is not the solution. Excluding them from the public restrooms does not protect the privacy of any person. It has been observed in many instances that they have been physically abused. This should be avoided at any cost. In many places private toilets are not always available. This is the reason the transgender should be granted the permission of using the public toilets. This would be convenient for all (Jeffreys 2014).

Position in relation to the topic

I think the transgender should be granted the right of using the public bathrooms as it is the human right of all the individuals. Every individual have the right to participate in all the social activities. This includes the right of using the public washrooms. I think the change of the washrooms to unisex washrooms can be a logical idea. The government should build laws and the strategies that would support the transgender to get their rights of being socially accepted by the society. There has been many such instances where the transgender in the clubs and other public places has been asked to use the disabled toilet. The disabled toilets are without the locks and the door handles. They are violated and it seems as if they are stripped off their identity. Everyone considers the transgender as a disabled person. It should be kept in mind that being a transgender is not a disability. They are not worthless. They experience a fear that is irrational. By allowing the transgender from using the public toilet can lead to the protection of their social status and social identity (Thoroughgood, Sawyer and Webster 2017). They can be protected from the physical as well as the mental violence. Many people from the trans-community are happy to use the bathrooms that are binary. The most important thing that has to be considered is the attitude of the people towards them. They should not be made unwanted to the world. The government should develop certain educational campaign where the people will be educated regarding the rights and regulations that are designed for the transgender. They should be given knowledge of the gender-neutral toilets. Using toilets matching the gender of their birth certificates should be eradicated in the first place (Green 2017).

The theory of liberal feminism, is an individualistic form of feminist theory that focuses on the ability of the women in order to maintain the equality of the women in the society. The emphasis of the theory is to make the legal and the political rights of women equal to that of men. The theory consists the fact that the society usually holds a false notion that the women are less intellectual and they are unable to tackle all the situation (Mikeal 2018). The society therefore discriminates the men and the women. They strive for the equality of the sexes. They try to do so in the light of political and the legal reform. This stands in contrast with the radical feminism. The theory opines of the equal rights and equal laws for all sexes and a strict implementation of the same (Tower 2016).

The above article portrays a long-simmering moral panic over the presence of the transgender people in the public toilets that is segregated by different sex. This has reached to an acute state in the last few years. The current backlash against the transgender using public toilets that match their gender identity reflects a longer history of public toilets. The article includes the proposal of an alternative design of bathroom that can accommodate the urgent needs of the community if the transgender. This will enable to meet the needs of different races, genders and the disabilities. The major part of the proposal is it fosters the acceptance by encouraging the people of diverse identities in order to interact in a comfortable way with the other person who are dwelling in the same public space. The article puts forward the question of safety and the attainment of the equal right to the transgender.

This article discusses the gains and the scope that are associated with the policy and the law that are related to the health and well-being of the transgender. The first and foremost topic that has been argued that how the bathroom myth has been used every time a Trans nondiscrimination bill is considered. The article briefly talks of the nondiscrimination laws and policies of the transgender. It further deals with the expansion of the gender discrimination and adopts the strategies that are included for promoting the mental health and the well-being among the transgender. In order to solve the issue it considers some of the policy developments that supports the mental health and the well-being of the transgender people.

The article can be aligned with the topic of transgender. The transgender belong to a different gender. Their gender should be recognized and they should be given the right to use the social facilities. This article considers certain theories and evidence that defines the need of the recognition of the equal rights of all sexes.

In the article the theory of liberal feminism includes the equal progress of all the sexes. The society should not discriminate one sex with the other. The equality should be maintained in all the fields, education, and medium of earning money. The permission to use the public toilets is certainly a part of such right. The employment opportunities should be limited only to one particular sex. The men in the society get all the rights. This makes their existence smooth and they are satisfied. The other sex does not get the equal opportunity and the equal facility which makes their existence difficult in the society.
