The Need for an Online Ordering System at Rajesh's Roti Kitchen

Rajesh’s roti kitchen is presently using modern systems such as CRM system and the customer loyalty programs with exciting special offers for the customers but it has been observed that they are unable to provide efficient services to the customers. The need of online ordering system at Rajesh’s roti kitchen is increasing for managing the demands of the increased number of customers. The aim of this report is to discuss the implementation of the new online ordering system which would allow the organisation to manage the customer orders and provide effective services to the customers. The context diagram plus importance of the context diagram is being discussed briefly in this report. The difference among data flow diagram as well as the entity relationship diagram is being briefly discussed in this report.

The context diagram has been defined as the visual representation of all defined relationship among the data as well as the business processes. The context diagram mainly has overall 3 primary components that involves the external entities, the data flows as well as the system processes. It offers all the factors as well as the events that are required to be considered by the developers for developing any system (Liaushuk & Jasiak, 2019). With this diagram, the developers could easily determine the overall scope, the boundaries as well as the system requirements. It does not involve the overall sequence of the events, the timing or even any particular technical information. It has been considered as the effective tool for helping in explaining the system to any stakeholders, the business analysts as well as the developers. Before creating the diagrams for the business projects, the individuals must be effectively familiar with the benefits and the limitations of the diagram (Kharmoum et al., 2020). The diagram does not display any proper details according to the overall technical structure. According to this, it is among the best illustrations for presenting any business project. It could be used for properly explaining the project to any audience with minimal technical expertise. The system context diagram has been defined as the efficient tool for any particular business line which requires the automated system of the services.

The data flow diagrams or even the data flow charts could be considered as the flowcharts which specifically displays the overall flow of the information all through the system or even during the process. The data flow diagrams could help in displaying the varying depths of the information plus help the audiences who could be non-technical with understanding how the data flows all through the software system. The data flow diagrams help in mapping out overall movement of the data for any particular processes or even the systems. It utilises the defined symbols such as the rectangles, the arrows plus circles, along with the short-text labels for showing the data inputs, the outputs, the storage points as well as the routes among each of the destination (f Martasubrata & Priyadi, 2019). The data flowcharts mainly range from relatively simple, even overview of the hand-drawn processes to the in-depth, multi-level data flow diagrams which digs extensively progressively into the methods by which data is being handled. There are mainly two basic categories of the data flow diagram. The logical Data flow diagram helps with the visualisation of the data flow which is required for the operation of any business (Vu-Ngoc et al., 2018). It helps in emphasising effectively on business as well as the requirement of information and not on how system would function or even proposed for working. Moreover, the physical DFD displays how systems is being actually implemented for the new organisation or even how it would be implemented (Ordonez, Al-Amin & Bellatreche, 2020).

Understanding Context Diagrams

The entity relationship diagram helps in displaying overall relationships among the entity collections which are deposited within any database. The entity for this context could be considered as the object, or even any component of generated data. The entity set could be defined as the gathering of the similar entities. These types of entities could have several attributes which defines the properties. Through defining these entities, their overall attributes as well as showing relationships among them, the ER diagram helps in illustrating the overall logical structure of the database (da Paixão & Pereira, 2018). The ER diagrams are presently being used for sketching out the primary design of any database. There are primary two basic reasons for developing any database diagram. The Entity relationship diagrams has been considered as the method of properly visualising how information is produced by any system and how it is related to any system. There are basically five major modules of any ERD:

The entities are being characterized using the rectangles and entities could be defined as the object or even the concept regarding which the users would want to store any information. The weak entities could be defined as the entities which should be properly defined by any relationship of foreign key with any other entity as it could not be distinctly recognised by their respective attributes. The actions, that are effectively represented using the diamond shapes, displays how any two entity shares information within the developed database (Ahmed et al., 2021).

The attributes are mainly defined as the distinct, distinguishing feature of any entity. Any multivalued attribute could have even more than one particular value. The derived attributes could be based on any other attribute.

The cardinality is Entity Relationship Diagram mainly postulates how several instances of any entity relates to any particular occurrence of any other entity. The ordinality has been considered to be relatively closely associated to the cardinality (Habib, 2019). While the cardinality helps with the specification of how the occurrences of any relationship, the ordinality helps with describing the relationship as either optional or even mandatory. The cardinality helps in specifying the overall number of the relationships plus the ordinality helps with specifying the fixed minimum amount of the relationships in the diagrams (UZUN, YERL?KAYA & KIRAT, 2018).

The data flow diagrams as well as the Entity Relationship Diagram models could both help in displaying the data presentations for recognising the data flows. The organisations are using these types of models for efficiently communicating the various versions. Data denotes the information; flow denotes to the manoeuvre and the diagrams mainly denotes to the picture for representing any idea. Therefore, the data flow diagram has been considered as the graphical illustration of the flow of the information. It has been defined as the framework or even the pattern of the information systems. It involves the data output, the data input as well as the storage of data. Data flow diagrams helps with describing the overall method of taking information as the input, storing this input as well as providing the information as output.

Benefits and Limitations of Context Diagrams

The entity mainly denotes to any object which want to store the information as well as easily distinguishable, the relationship denotes to the connection developed among the entities and the model denotes to picture that is being used for representing any particular idea (Skawanti, 2021). Therefore, the entity relationship diagram could be considered as just the model or diagram which is developed for representing or displaying connection among the entities or even the data objects which are stored in any database. The majority of the components of any ER model are considered as the entities, the attributes, plus the relationships (Ghosh et al., 2018).

Data flow diagram

Entity relationship diagram

The data flow diagram helps in representing how data is entering any system, how it is being transformed in the system plus how it has been stored within it.

The entity relationship diagram mainly represents the entity model plus would display what the system or database would look but it would not provide the explanation of how to properly implement the database.

Data flow diagram helps in displaying what are the things or even the procedures transforms when input data has been gained from the output

ERD mainly models what is the data and what is the relationship do various pieces of the data have with one another. It helps in effective defining the overall structure of the database tables.

The main objective of the Data flow diagram is the representation of the processes as well as the data flow among them.

The main objective of the ERD is the representation of the data object or even the entity plus the relationship among them.

Conclusion

Therefore, it could be considered from this provided discussion that the system design has been effectively completed through the data flow diagrams and the Entity relationship diagrams which provides proper information about the flow of data among the various entities. The entity relationship diagram helps in displaying the overall relationships among the entity sets which are stored within any database. The entity for this context could be considered as the object, or even any component of generated data. The context diagram has been defined as the visual representation of all defined relationship among the data as well as the business processes.
