Managing the operations in the business is one of the principles tasks of the management of the organization. Operations management is not just restricted to one department in an organization; rather it is an integral part of every department of the business company. Managing the operations in the business is the key to earn success and profits for the organization. ‘Mandy Moving & Packing’ is an organization that helps the people with moving and packing needs (Mandy Moving - Removal Services, 2018). In such type of a business, manufacturing is not on which the management needs to give special focus. However, the organization needs to keep its focus on the flow of information in the organization. Client The prime acquisition is another operations in the business that needs to be focused upon. All the requirements of the clients should be followed or else customer satisfaction cannot be reached. In the present scenario, the organization is facing problems regarding its human resource management (Stevenson, 2014). In the organization, the attrition rates have scored high and new employees are being hired. The clients of the organization are complaining that there is being too much breaking of the things that are being moved by the company and this is happening, as the new employees do not have adequate knowledge about which materials should be used to pack the different articles. Due to the above-mentioned problem, the organization is not being able to satisfy the clients.

The present operations in the business are not up to the mark. There is no satisfaction among the consumers and the performance of the organization is going down when compare to other logistics organizations complying in Australia (Haksever& Render, 2018). Regarding its operations, the organization is facing huge problems, as there is no coordination among the employees working in it. This is bringing more operation management issues in the company. The prime focus of the organization is to provide cheap and inexpensive logistics services to the people in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney. However, lack of coordination among the employees and the management of the organization is hampering the performance of the organization (Schönsleben, 2016).

The organization provides logistics services in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. The main principle of the organization is to provide inexpensive service to the potential consumers (Mandy Moving - Removal Services, 2018). The business layout of the organization is very simple. The layout of business speaks about the objective of the organization and here the objective is to satisfy the packing and moving needs of the people in the cheapest rates possible (Chua et al., 2017). The strategy of the organization is to hassle free packing and moving services to the consumers so that, customer satisfaction can be reached. The organization advertises itself as a firm that provides the cheapest services among the other competitors in the market. As people are always shifting from one place to another, the business opportunities for the organization are on a rise. The management of the organization should look into smooth operations within the organization so that greater customer satisfaction could be reached. Being located in Australia and having its operations in the other major places in the country, the company has various options to attain growth in business. Growth in business can be only achieved when; the operations in the organization are managed efficiently by the managers and the management.

Flow of information in the workplace is one of the vital aspects of managing operations in it. When there is smooth flow of information among the employees the work becomes easier to perform. The managers of the organization should communicate the decisions that are taken in the management level so that the employees get an idea of the objective they need to achieve. The organization requires various packaging materials for packing different articles and items. This packaging materials needs to be brought to the organization using the supply chain (Jacobs, Chase &Lummus, 2014). On the other hand, what the company does is, it acquires the packaging materials from the city the customer lives in. This decreases the cost of transportation of the packaging materials and the organization can earn more profits. The other benefit of acquiring packaging material from different supply chains is that the bargaining power of the organization increases (Rushton, Croucher & Baker, 2014). It helps the organization to acquire the supply materials at a much cheaper price. This strategy of ‘Mandy Moving & Packing’helps the organization to maintain cordial relationship with the different supply chains in Australia and specifically in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.

The quality of business should be regularly scrutinized by the managers and the management of the organization. The different aspects of business quality are scrutinized as regular intervals, it helps in better performance management and business management. The managers are also responsible for setting the targets for the employees working in the organization. When the quality of the service provided by the organization is good, it can be said that the business performance of the organization is quite good and flourishing. For ‘Mandy Moving & Packing’, business quality aspects can be of various types. Business quality can be related to the type of packing used for moving the goods, the vehicles in which the goods are moved whether the packing and moving is a timely service of not, the behaviour of the staff and the speed in which the queries of the consumers get solved. The organization has to look on all the above-mentioned factors in order to maintain the quality of business and services provided to the customers (Lu, Goh, & De Souza, 2016).

Scrutinizing the different aspects of business quality makes the organization competent enough to understand the good and the bad aspects in the business. This aspects decide the fate of the organization in the market and also among the consumers. ‘Mandy Moving & Packing’concentrates on timely delivery of the shipments (Mandy Moving - Removal Services, 2018). This is a good aspect for the organization. While the packaging material used by the organization are not of good quality and this has led to various breaking of the articles in the recent deliveries that has been done. The employees of the organization are new and they do not have sufficient knowledge on different packaging procedures (Myerson, 2015). This is hampering the quality of business offered by the organization. The flow of information among the employees is not smooth and this is the reason why there is lack of coordination among the employees and the management. Lack of information is not letting the managers manage the operations of the business, which in turn is directing impacting the different aspects of business quality.

 The major crisis that is going on in the organization is there is being too much breaking of the articles that are being moved. This is making the organization lose out on potential consumers. In such a scenario, the organization needs to manage the employees. The management of the organization should make the employees aware about the vision of the company (Kalantari et al., 2017). In addition to this, the organization in order to attain the goals should make training sessions available to the new employees who have joined in. The management of the organization is responsible for imparting training to the employees. Training should not be in verbal form but the employees should get hands on experience on different aspects of packaging materials. This will help the organization to overcome with the crisis they are facing at the moment. Better communication within the employees and the management of the organization will help the managers take better care of the operations inside as well as outside the company (Lai & Wong, 2012). Maintaining good relationship with the supply chain people will also accelerate the flow of business within the organization. Other management operations that can be undertaken by the organization are better communication with the consumers and timely delivery of the shipments

For improving the operations within the organization, communication with the employees is very important. The managers are the real people in the organization who takes care of the ongoing processes in the business. Even outside the organization, managing the operations is of vital importance for the success of the organization. The managers should direct the employees so that they understand their duties well inside the organization (Quirke, 2017). These improvements can help the organization attain the goals that is has set for itself. On the other hand, the organization should concentrate on providing training to the employees on the ways to pack different articles so there is minimum breakage (Pollock, Jefferson & Wick, 2015). If the organization is able to make these improvements inside it, it can reach high success rates in the coming days.
