However, the anti-social behavior has been increasing rapidly due to the poor management and lack of adequate knowledge of the people within the housing society. Goldacre is a popular housing company. The main aim of this organization is to give comfort to the residents after purchasing the property. In the recent years this housing association has been facing anti-social behavior due to lack of supportive management structure. However, the committees do not represent the interest of the tenants and it is difficult for them to change any policy. Therefore, most of the complaints that are received by the staffs are not forwarded to the relevant departments. Another issue is the huge number of empty and boarded flats that hampers the attractiveness of the housing complex. This study deals with the good practices and a SMART plan to deal with these challenges.

Anti-social behavior in the housing complex is a common problem in the recent years. Lack of proper management and inequality in different classes influence this anti-social activity. In order to deal with the antisocial behavior in the housing complex it is important to make an updated tenancy agreement including rules and regulation and to create awareness among the residents to reduce the inequality from the community. Tenancy agreement is helpful to prohibit the antisocial behavior with the help of law (Flint 2017). In order to take action regarding the annoyance and nuisance this practice is helpful. This action is specific as without the help of landlord it is difficult to improve the quality of the housing (Bouchard et al. 2018). On the other hand, this action is measurable as the contribution of landlord is crucial to repair the existing system and develop a new structure of the housing complex. Therefore, this action is achievable as by making a collaborative work with the local authority the landlord will be able to increase the number of customers and to reduce the issues of empty flat. This action is realistic as the involvement of landlord is one and only way to improve the service quality in a housing association. This is time specific as 6 to 8 months is required to restructure the housing association.

The above piece of work deals with the issues in the context of Goldacre housing company. However, the residents of this housing estate are facing anti-social behavior within the community. On the other hand, due to the empty and boarded flats, this housing association has lost their attractiveness. However, in order to deal with these issues updated tenancy policy and involvement of the residents in the decision-making process will be effective.
